got to spend the day doing silly stuff w my friends + playing music so like massive win

and in ensemble i won some sort of scholarship?? idk whats its for but like yay?? ig! and like in ensemble we prob got 3rd or 4th place (final socres arent out yet)

then in combo ppl rlly liked my solo!!! and we got all good marks so ig qualifiable for 1st place!! :3

i like srsly need to be better today cuz theres a band rehearsal i'd like to feel better for but if i dont do that which i dount i will i will only have one song in the ensemble tomorrow adn other bass w have 3 and like i technically play in combo so that adds songs fro me but she played in combo at the orther one and we spplit the songs and the competition is tmr and i cant rlly ask "can i play one of ur songs today" but i like kbnow how to plaay all her songs (some more than others)

and also if i dont feel great tomorrow hats rlly bad cuz i play in combo and its pretty much same set as what the other combo plated at the other comppettiton this year but we're also playing one song thats kinda hard the other ocoombo hadnt gotten down in time and we made adjustments to how songs are played etc so its like too much for other bass to ;learn in like a little bit and we dont rlly want our abnd director playling w us lmao i dount hes even allowed and they cant play w/o a bass then also just in ensemble ive have my song down a lot better than other bass just cuz ive played it more for stuff so liek helppp if i dont feel dgood its gonna cause like a massive like domino effecr or like i'd prob just go if i still only have soar throat but like its not like i play alto o3 or soemthing!! so i cant cjust not go and also i rlly wanna go

i asked my dad + my friends but im still scared band directr will be mad/annoyed tha t i didnt practice my bass solo for blue bossa tonight cuz we have combo mornng tmr so i'll prob need to play it then but i have like no time toaday and want to get to rela x some but also i told him i'd practcice but im planing to practice it tmr during school cuz he also teaches music class + we have music tmr so im just honna pratcoce it dring then cuz babd ppl can practice band stuff during music vbut im still scared he'll be a little annoed i didnt rpactice it.

and also i have to ractie a thing 4 pick up the pieces cuz during the drum solo its like the instruments play something then drum has 3 beat or osmethng cool fill and that happens a few times but basically during one of those fills im ggonna play a cool bass thing instead of drums and i just need to rpactice a bit cuz its fast an d i wanna be able to play it btu im NOt pratcing tonight ater ike 3 hrs of band

and also band director snet email after rehearsal to the combo saying "Great job today. Get rest .... You have Combo in the am." (literally copy/pasted) so ithink its ok but sytill. a little worried. even tho shouldnt be

IN COMBO THO WE MADE $205.95!!!! IN LIKE 3 HOURS SO MAYBE NOT GRETA BUT WHO REALLY CARES!!! AT THE END MY FINGERS WERE LITERALLY NUMB LIKE I COULDNT PLAY FAST AND MY MUSIC WAS LIKE MOIST FROM THE AIR BUT IT WAS RLLY FUN!!!

if it rains when we're meant to busk tmr im gonna b so mad. like omgg the other group got tp go on tues + rhet got $170 apparebrly??? and so if they got that plus the first time (we all went + our combo was leading) ten we dont get to vusk would NOT be fair!!!! alsp their combo splits into 2 groups cuz theyre big and we're like normal combo size so idk that prob means they can get more money i mean on the leaderboard their combo is dicided but still like if irs their combo added up then its unfair bbut i dont think so but back to my pouint!!!! i only want it to rain tmr morning/early afternonn!!!1

combo busking a lot this week and the only songs i dont haev memorize r the holiday ones help on fri when i thought we were busking but didnt end up going i was so scraed they were gonna b mad i dindt have evrythin memorized like the entire dya i was thinking abt it but like some osngs for holidays i dont even play bass on so i havent had rehearsal tim e to do and also like 3 weeks ago i had pneumonia and idk if we had the music 4 that het then but 2 weeks ago it was thanksgiving so i was w family a lot whole week + also ut was a break then last week i wouldve barely even been allowed to memorize + cuz badn teacher would like tell M "dont bring ur bass home, ur not practiving tnight, we have band tmr" cuz we cna leave our bass' at home so lik etechically no memorizin tmie but then again if every1 else has stfuf mmemorised im so cooked cuz id b the only person who needs a stand + im the only person who cant carrya stand +walk and ofc sum1 ese would just carry it but i dont wana b the only person who needs 1 adn also i jst ahhh

we busking tmr and i dont have al sogs memorized idk if thats ok im gonna make sure theyre memorized at least mostly but help omg what if we're not bringding stands opps and i dont have bass @ home it @ school but i think its fine cuz i have electric and transferring fingering pretty easy
