I know the violence in atla is censored to a degree that feels almost comical when you rewatch as a grown-up but I think all the time about the in-universe implications of Combustion Man being immune to Katara trying to impale him with ice daggers because she almost does the same to Yon Rha, the implication being that she would've killed him if she hadn't stopped herself. But with Combustion Man he just curls in on himself and the ice daggers simply bounce off of him and break. Hell we see Zuko break a metal chain with nothing but his ankle and he is also comically bouncing off of Combustion Man when he tries to stop him from hurting the gaang in The Western Air Temple. Like what is Combustion Man made of? Is he a human?? Does he have metal plates under his skin??? Why does he never speak and is unmotivated by the promise of more money despite being an assassin-for-hire? It's implied by what Zuko says that he hasn't even paid Combustion Man yet and Combustion Man tries to kill Zuko for trying to stop him, which he had to have known would mean he's not getting paid at all. Is Combustion Man just blowing people up for the love of it and the money part is secondary?? Was Zuko only under the impression that he'd have to pay Combustion Man when the job was done??? Like he was unaware that Combustion Man was simply taking commissions and didn't even want any money? Dude straight up fell into the ATLA universe accidentally from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or some shit.

Forgive me for being entirely on brand but does anyone think there's a teensy bit of Terminator influence at play with Combustion Man? Ridiculously large inhumanly stoic and silent assassin who's partially mechanical. Singlemindedly hunts our heroes to the ends of the Earth and can't be bargained with, can't be reasoned with and absolutely will not stop until you are dead. Just sayin.'

The Combustion harem-

Question about a potential Au, one regarding combustion man. And aged up Au. What if the combustion man took the Gaang plus Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee as sex slaves/concubines?

Note: In this Au, the Gaang includes Yue (who survived and dint become the moon spirit) who joined the Gaang after book 1. And it also includes the og members Aang, Katara, and Sokka. It includes Toph who joined up in book 2, and also includes Zuko who is a probationary member in thus episode of canon. Unfortunately, Suki is still in prison because the boiling rock prison break that Zuko and Sokka do takes place several episodes after this one in canon.

Combustion man assaults the Western Air temple, but this time Sokka isn’t able to kill him with the bommerang. Combustion man manages to subdue the Gaang (including the Avatar and Zuko). He chained them up in their tattered clothes, and he rested. The combustion man took many a would in his victory so he needed to rest and recover. He contemplates killing the lot of them and only returning to the capital with a captured the Avatar and traitor prince. But Combustion man decides against this…

He instead fucks each of them into submission drooling messes. He decides to keep them, why give up his new harem after all?

When Azula successfully tracked down her traitor brother (with Mai and Ty Lee in tow since they hadn’t betrayed her at the Boiling rock) they land at the Western Air temple only to see a strange sight. Her traitor, the Avatar and his entire cabal of sychopanta were all stark naked and were worshiping the combustion bending mercenary with their mouths. Azula, Ty Lee, and and Mai all audibly swallow and Azula stammers that the prisoners are to be taken to Caldera and transformed to Fire Nation authority.

Combustion man refuses and stands up, and after the defeats the trio like he swiftly defeated the Gaang, he then claimed the trio as sex slaves like he did the Gaang. Political consequences of it all be damned.

Combustion man also has a voyeurism incest kink. And so Azula, Zuko and Katara, Sokka protest at first, but find themselves enjoying putting on the show a little too much.

It ends will all the Katara, Azula, Zuko, Sokka, Mai, Toph, Aang, Yue, and Ty Lee all on their hands and knees naked and asses up in the air as they worshiped the combustion dick.
