It was a cold and rainy Friday night in Taipei, but I'm glad I ventured out and finally made it over to Beer Cat, a craft-beer bar I've been wanting to try for a while now. /// I liked this bar. A good crowd, but not too crowded, with some music on in the background, but not so loud that you couldn't talk. /// I was there, of course, for the pop-up shop by Comeback Kid Sausage Co., and once again, the food was excellent. /// I started off with the #3 Dirty Dog, which featured yellow mustard, garlic aioli, chipotle ketchup, grilled onions and peppers, and crispy bacon, all on a tasty toasted bun, and paired it up with a Founders All-Day IPA as part of the combo deal. /// Then, after a bit of conversation, I decided to follow up with the #2 El Guapo, which had guacamole, pico de gallo, and a jalapeño beer cheddar sauce. This just may be my favorite from Comeback Kid, and a big reason is the jalapeño beer cheddar sauce. This is simply awesome--I could eat just this all by itself!
