Pirates Anthem Shabba Ranks, Coco Tea and Home T: this 1988 dancehall classic jas been on my bucket list for years. The homie Byze One and me spoke on it being on 7 and he hipped me that he found it in discogs and that there were copies so i logged on and copped. This one reminds me kf days of smoking blunts snd drinking Guiness in my man Wolf One TDA’s basement loft/ party headquarters in Chelsea circe late early 90s. Loved Shabba he was the Don during this time period, and Coco T was always the shit loved his classic Rikers Island ( which I cant find in 7”) he has always been a Dancehall legend. Dont know a lot about Home T other than this records. This one reminds me@of nights listening to and taping the Gil Bailey show@in NYC and 2 in the morning and those crazy home mad commercials he ran ....Tight Tight desert storm security and the legendary Pauls Boutique commercial The Beasties used and named there record after.
