→ Orenchi no Furo Jijou (Merman in My Tub)

I’m usually not too big on anime that doesn’t have some serious plot and action but Orenchi no Furo Jijou was really good. I think a lot of it has to do with how short the series was but since each episode was around 4 minutes long. Tatsumi is a high school student who one day finds Wakasa, a merman, in need of help. Tatsumi takes Waka to his house and allows him to reside in his bathtub. It sounds strange at first but the storyline is very lax. Throughout the anime, we’re introduced to Waka’s sea animal friends (all of which are half human) including an octopus, jellyfish, and (what I think is) a hermit crab. They all go through very human events including a Halloween special and Waka overfilling the bathroom with bubbles. IT’S ESPECIALLY FUNNY that the trailer looks so freaking serious with it’s dark ass colors and intense music because it’s literally not serious at all AT ALL. Anyway ;-; if you’re looking for something short and funny lemme put you on Orenchi no Furo Jijou ^_^
