typically silver wouldn’t do business in her house but when she was feeling out a new client or someone who came to her for work? yeah, she liked an intimate space. and besides...she was one of the most normal looking people she could possibly have on her team so silver wanted to play nice. so she’d invited winter over and had rolled up two blunts for the occasion. she’d done her research on the woman. she posed as a real estate agent but pushed her own shit. she used to be involved with a few gangs but then she moved away. silver had plenty of connects to find out what she needed to know. she didn’t take on her father’s business to stay in the dark to nobody’s business. if you came to her, you were her business. and that was a well known fact. but really, silver didn’t know why the other wanted to meet with her in the first place but she was always a sucker for a pretty face. and because winter seemed fairly harmless, she allowed her attendant to let her up. once the other walked into her bachelor pad, she grinned and pulled the lit joint from between her lips. “winter baby! even more gorgeous in person.” she said happily, greeting the other as if they were old friends.

daniel wished he’d chosen a different place to live. because living in his fraternity house was just...not a good idea for a medical student. and he should’ve known this and he did but that’s what he gets for making decisions out of excitement rather than the facts. because now he was in his room with a shit ton of papers spread out around him as he desperately tried studying for his practical but after about two hours he gave up. how could he focus when there was a full blown party just a one staircase away? and every 20 minutes a door was opening and slamming shut? and he could hear the giggles of wasted girls just ten feet away? how was he supposed to stay in his room and focus? he sighed and gave up. he still had a few more days and he’d been at it for weeks. in all honesty, if he didn’t know by now he wasn’t going to learn it. but a study break was probably best for his brain in the first place. the boy braced himself then walked out of his room and down the stairs, heading straight to the kitchen for a drink. he’d have a few, get a nice buzz going, maybe dance with a girl, then go back upstairs. he was giving himself an hour and a half. or so he thought until he saw a friend of his strolling up to him.

                kendra knows that it's probably wrong to steal from the other person, but she was fiending for some ice cream, and it was her day off so she was  NOT  putting on pants. all she had to do was not get caught by the other woman and she could just lie and deny it later on (then enevitably admit to it and promise to buy more  —  it was a funny little cycle she had), but sitting on the kitchen counter with a spoon halfway falling out of her mouth was not very subtle. when she hears the other's keys in the door, she stands quickly, hoping to shove the pint back into the freezer, but her quick movements instead causing the ice cream to plop on the ground. '  shit.   '  she murmurs, fake smile spreadingacross her lips as she fumbles to hide the spoon behind her back. ken knows the jig is absolutely up, but she'll stand by her lie, '  baby! it was crazy, this guy broke in here and just went straight for your caramel toffee crunch. i tried to stop him, but —  '  she shrugs, ' it was fucking insane. '

“ you will not believe the day i had. ” nova gave an exasperated sigh as she turned to face the other, although there was a hint of an amused smile on her lips. “ one of the interns tried to convince me to put a flat earth conspiracy article in this weeks edition. and they were actually serious about it! ” even if it was one of the worst ideas the brunette had ever heard, she couldn’t help but laugh at the ridiculousness. “ i’m still in shock. ”
