I don’t talk about my Uni work much on here, mainly because I spend all my time on here trying not to think about Uni work. Anyway here is are first trailer for a game project I’m part of. I feel weird talking about my life…

Comet’s Tale - 2015 - Unreal Engine 4
My current project, a puzzle platformer using a unique mirror mechanic where the mirror's reflection shows more truth than the actual world. I'm working on this with Sam Beale and Faye Allen, the pair of whom made an early version of the game in UDK3 during their second year.
I've been working on blueprint scripting, modelling and texturing, while also building a few of the levels.

Driving with Jeremy
Me: Look, it's 1:11! Make a wish! .... I wish for a greyhound! Jeremy: Of course. Rozie, we can't rush these things. Me: In one year! Jeremy: I don't think we should put a date on these sort of things... Me: A year and a half!
Riding Comet's Tale
Who doesn't love the story of a rescue dog? I'm working through just about every book dealing with rescue dogs or dogs being awesome. One of my favorite categories.
Comet's Tale is particularly good because the author's conversation tone and wealth of knowledge. He's got a pretty amazing story, aside from the dog - really crappy luck with a painful back condition and dealing with a long-distance relationship. The graphic surgery details I could've done without but that's very much my own thing.
Fantastic read. I'd recommend to anyone who either doesn't know about greyhounds or wants to read about that wonderful bond dogs and owners have. All around, well-written feel good story.
Comet's Tale review
Reviewed Comet's Tale by Steven D. Wolf on the blog!
My interest was piqued when I saw an email aboutComet’s Tale, a book about how a greyhound saved a man’s life. It’s been a while since I’ve brushed up on my dog facts, but I did remember that greyhounds were usually racing dogs and usually not much that that. Greyhounds not really suitable as service dogs so how did this greyhound, Comet, become a service dog?
SinceComet’s Taleis the a true story about how Comet saved the author’s life, rescuing his marriage and helping him heal from a spine condition, I knew I needed to read it.
The novel starts in the very beginning of the author’s journey, before the author had a dog. “It was just past 8:00 am and the road winding through the foothills north of Flagstaff was deserted. The spring air was chilly, but I rolled down the window anyway, letting the fragrant of Ponderosa pine rush through the car.” The author’s driving to a shelter that rescues and rehabilitates racing greyhounds for adoption and he’s just about to choose Comet, or rather, Comet choose him.
