“Person At Beach On Cloudy Day 2”
A little one before bed.
"Waiting For Death"
Ink and brush pen on paper. 15cm×21cm.
.
Little story here. I was catching up on Abigail Thorn's latest Philosophy Tube video on Capital Punishment and amazing A+ video, as always (insightful, informative and intricately discussed -- go watch it!) And by the end of it all, a curious little song started playing over the credits, one whose instrumentation and lyrics (well sort of) and overall composition somehow fits with and reflects everything that has been discussed in the video. It's Luke Levenson's "Waiting For Death" and I have been listening to it on repeat ever since. And also drawn a fanart of it.
'Cliffs'
Coloured pencils and ink on paper.
.
Decided to finally settle on the title 'Cliffs'. Anyways, this piece is inspired in large part by Tomm Moore's first two films, 'The Secret of Kells' and 'Song of the Sea', both of which I have recently had the pleasure of watching and falling in love with.
