i’m so sorry arcane is letting you down but at the same time it feels so validating to hear you talk about it and explain it so well, i felt so underwhelmed by s2 but had no idea how to verbalize why ToT reading your posts feels like attending a support group fr </3

i honestly do still like season 2 overall, like there are a lot of really great moments and i'm having fun watching, and i KNEW there were issues going in, but it's still kind of maddening 😭

i can do this one multiple times because i've been silly lately soooo. sorry to johnny lawrence again but like i think i've spammed enough byler lately i wanna remind everyone of this scene from this fic:

“Were you ever, you know. An item?” Johnny Lawrence spews a mouthful of beer across his kitchen counter. It is as entirely unpleasant an experience to witness as one might expect. “Goddamn,” he wheezes, coughing roughly into his elbow. He doesn’t appear to own a single dish towel, and there’s no paper towels in sight either, so Amanda fishes a travel pack of tissues out of her purse and hands them to him wordlessly. Johnny clears his throat, picking the pack of tissues open as she watches. “Shit, okay,” he says at last. “No. We were not. You know. An item. Jesus.” Amanda only looks at him. He seems offended by it. “Look, lady,” Johnny huffs, “the only ass-beating I ever gave LaRusso was of the non-sexual kind. Emphasis on the beating, okay, not the ass.”

like. it's the dumbest thing ever. but i laughed SO fucking hard writing "emphasis on the beating not the ass".
