Comix Connection’s Subscription Service:

This post is for those of you who haven’t yet signed up for our “PULL/HOLD” or Subscription Box at Comix Connection. If you buy comic books on a regular basis and want to be certain that you don’t miss any issues of your favorite titles, then this service is for you! Let us know what titles you want and we will PULL them when they come in each week and HOLD them for you until you come in to pick them up! It’s that simple! There’s NO CHARGE for the service and we pull our subscriber orders before we put the new books on the shelves. This ensures that the subscriber orders are always filled first!

How It Works:

You fill out the Subscription Sheet with your name, address, and contact information, and a list of the comic book titles that you want held.

You are assigned a BOX NUMBER. If you forget your assigned Box Number, remember your first and last names and we can look it up. (If you forget those, we suggest consulting with Professor X or Doctor Fate for an amnesia cure! Or just check your driver’s license.)

We fill your orders when the new books come in each week and file the books on your list neatly in our boxes under the counter for safe storage until you can come in to retrieve them!

You pick your comics up at least once a month, secure in the knowledge that your books are already pulled before they have had the opportunity to sell out and that you won’t miss any issues!

You buy them at the counter and receive a FREE PERSONALIZED RECEIPT!

There is NO FEE OR DEPOSIT for this service!

The Not-So-Fine Print:

We ask that you pick up the comic books you’ve ordered at least ONCE A MONTH. If you do not pick up your comic books in a timely manner, we will call you with a reminder to come in. If you still do not appear, we will cancel your subscription box and put any comics that we had held for you back on the rack. YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR PHONE NUMBER CURRENT with us because if we call to remind you about your books and find the number is outdated we will assume you moved to Krypton and no longer want your comics! Please stay in touch!

You may add or drop any titles from your subscription box at any time, but we do expect you to pick up what is already in your box whenever those changes are made. (We order most items two months or more in advance of ship date and want to stay ahead of things as much as possible. We are also different from major chain stores in that NONE OF OUR MERCHANDISE IS RETURNABLE.) Please DO NOT ask to add or drop titles through tumblr as we do not always get those messages in a timely manner and you may miss new issues!

We sell the Diamond PREVIEWS catalog to our subscribers at our cost ($2.40 at this point) and the separate MARVEL Catalog is either free with purchase of PREVIEWS or sold at our cost ($0.75) if you want to include either the full or partial version of the catalog on your pull list. Practically everything in the aforementioned PREVIEWS catalog can be ordered through the store! Just make sure to get your orders in before the order cut-off date which is posted in the store each month!

All PREVIEWS Special Orders (t-shirts, posters, toys, graphic novels, statues, whatever!) will also be pulled for you as soon as they arrive; you will be notified of their arrival by a NOTE in your box! Just like with your comic books, we ask that you pick up Special Orders monthly!

There is NO MINIMUM NUMBER OF BOOKS required to have a Comix Connection Subscription and NO FEES or DEPOSITS required!

If you are ever going out of town or will otherwise be unable to pick up your books for an extended length of time just get in touch with us! We are always happy to work around any difficulties, whether that means you give yourself a Gift Certificate to cover a chunk of the expected cost of your books in advance or just talk to us regularly. As long as you STAY IN CONTACT WITH US we will do our best to make sure your box stays active and you always get your books!
