sometimes bucky finds himself craving depression era meals. they’re nostalgic even if they’re not always particularly tasty.

clint knows about struggle meals from his own difficult childhood so in exchange for trying bucky’s chipped beef and questionable stews, he has the older man try his childhood meals of canned spaghetti and “nachos” that are just chips with cheese melted in the microwave

the only reason team red does not drag clint on missions more often is that matt is fully aware its a fifty fifty toss up: either clint will help him parent the other two idiots or clint will become another idiot to parent
