moceit odyssey/epic the musical au but instead of doing what you might expect im casting patton as Odysseus and Janus as Penelope.  

Because she is cunning too and idk when I imagine the “move the bed” scene with jan tricking pat it’s just better?? Janus unweaving the shroud every night feels so him. He would be so rude to the suitors. 

Pat with a sharp mind who has been trained by Logan/Athena, who abandons him to fend for himself when Pat can’t be ruthless enough for his mentor’s liking 

Patton acting like a Dad to all the soldiers on his ship, telling them dad jokes to keep up morale. Caring about them all so so much. Patton who won’t stop talking about his own son Thomas. Waiting for him back home

Roman(Elpenor) and Remus(Perimedes), young soldiers on Pat’s ship, twins joined at the hip. Remus who lashes out and blames Patton when his brother gets drunk and falls off that roof, saying that the Captain should’ve looked after him - never forgives as long as he lives.    

Virgil/Eurylochus being anxious about his fellow crew and constantly grounding Patton down to earth and forcing him to be realistic, concerned that Pat is changing, scared of what it will cost everyone for their captain to get home to his love. Thomas having heard stories from Janus about his tall strong “uncle Virgil”, as he and Patton were as close as brothers, Thomas asking Patton what happened to him

Patton who didn’t want to do any of it, how selfish he was will keep him up at night for the rest of his life but he just had to see Janus again and he will be ok as long  as he is next to his husband. Patton who doesn’t recognise the person in his mirror, having long thrown out the moral code he once believed he would always follow. Because the world simply gave him no other choice. 

Polites could be Emile? Thomas Telemachus? 

Im .. not sure about any of the Gods and Foes they meet along the way lol.  

Is there overlap in these fandoms?? Can anyone hear me?????

I think there's a lot to be said about the fact that out of all the times Janus impersonated Patton, only once did Thomas and the other sides notice something was wrong with their friend.
