Hello it is I, your local Detective! I am soon to be a college graduate, which is very exciting but also very scary, for I am still looking for a job to finance my detective activities. So in the meantime, I’m offering commissions

As you all know, I cartoon, so I’m willing to draw ya’ll comics, as in comic strips. You give me a script, I can draw that shit for you. My style is very cartoony and all done with traditional media, so check out my tag and my art blog to see if it might fit what you’re looking for first.

My rates are pretty flexible depending on what you want and how much detail, so I have to see what you want before I give you an idea of what ballpark it would be in. But two pages on black in white with moderate detail shouldn’t be more than $20, to give you an idea. If you just want a pretty picture instead of a full strip, talk to me.

I wasn’t sure about doing these, plus the commission post was getting long but overall I’d like to try it out.

20$- Doodle comic +5$ for every extra page

3 pages of doodle characters with basic backgrounds and basic shading, limited color

35$ Sketch Comic +10$ every extra page

3 pages of detailed sketches with basic sketched backgrounds and basic shading, limited color

60$ Line-art comic +20$ every extra page

3 pages of cleaned up shaded figures with cleaned up shaded backgrounds, limited color

80$ Lineless color or colored line-art comic +30$ every extra page

3 pages of either lineless colored figures and background with shading, or colored in line-art figures and background with shading. Can mix and match if you want.

CONTENT CREATOR SEEKING ARTIST

Good evening! The Tolkien Black Guy here! I’m back at it again! I need an artist to be my “go to” person for the Tolkien Black Guy Project!   I'm laying the groundwork work for a blog, radio show and YouTube channel. I'm in need of an artist who will do work for me and be my "go to" artist for the project! There are a few things that I require: 1.) Constant communication. The lines of communication need to be open at all times. This can only work if we work together. 2.) You must be strongly familiar with or involved in geek culture. This includes sci-fi, anime, superheroes, cosplay etc. Your "niche" of geekery will not be a determining factor of whether or not you get the position, but it must be something that you're strongly familiar with! It's a *huge* plus if you're a fan of tokusatsu shows such as Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai. 3.) I'm looking for a "Western" style art, in the vein of shows such as Young Justice, The Batman (2004), Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender (2017) If this is something that you're interested in, please message The Tolkien Black Guy with some of your work!
