I had a lot of fun with the perspectives on these panels. Drawing the eyes on the fish was a blast, too. I based the second panel on an osprey, and I think I translated the feathers to membrane wings pretty decently. What do you all think?

What do you guys think is the best decision you've made in regards to the process of creating these comics?
Mobius Legends, without a doubt. Most of our earliest work is noticeably rough around the edges, but having test stories helped us iron out those problems before moving on to the main series. Without that, issue 248 wouldn’t have turned out nearly as well as it did.

My cat, Sophie, is watching the cottonwood puffs floating outside the window while I work. Isn’t she cute?
I am halfway through the drawing of page 16, which is solidly the middle of the 32 page issue eight. Can’t wait to get these drawings done, so that I can scan them in and start inking.
All of the shadows are in! Which means that unless I go back and change something, the Dragon Child Issue # 8 cover is complete! Making my covers in Illustrator is a bit of a process, as I shared with you all, but I hope you will agree that the end result is worth it. Do you like it? I am excited to see it all done and dusted!
Working on the drawing for the cover of issue 8. I am pretty happy with the layout so far. It feels great to have something down on paper, after struggling to come up with a cover idea for this issue. What do you all think?
Finished drawing the last two panels on another page for issue eight! Ryū is jumping and twirling around in excitement, which was fun to draw.

Short version is I had my Facebook account hacked, admin access taken away, and had to fight to get access to my page back again. Luckily for me, one of my Apple Creative coworkers now works at Facebook, so he was able to help me make a ticket. Without his help I would have been up a creek without a paddle for sure, so I am eternally grateful.
What if mythical creatures are real, and have been living in hiding since the middle ages out of fear of humans? This truth has been droppe
Check out my comic on Webtoons, to get caught up before the release of issue eight.
Just finished drawing page sixteen, which means I am halfway through the issue! Yay! Time to wash the side of my hand, as it is smudging all over the place. I couldn’t erase all of the pretty feather details in the third panel, so perfect reason to have the hawk (Rik) overlapping the panel and bleeding off the page.
