hey i was checking through your carol danvers tag and i've come across with amazingly drawn comics (including her possible relationship with jessica) so i was wondering if you could help me out as to where i should start reading her comics! thanks! <3

Sure! I have read all the Carol comics, even her very early Ms. Marvels which are definitely not a great way to start. With Carol, I think you should always start with Kelly Sue Deconnick’s Captain Marvel. Then probably Avengers Assemble. From there you can read KSD’s second Carol series and so on. If after the first Capt Marvel series, you’re really invested in Carol I would absolutely recommend her Ms. Marvel series and the circa 2010 Avengers. I know that’s a lot but if you have any questions or need further recommendations, please let me know!

Haha, had a feeling Eli would be morning person if anyone, was kinda close. I don't think much of her has been shown or talked about. If it's not a comic spoiler, how did she meet Josie and Danielle? Does she clash with Danielle at all, they seem like they're kinda opposites and I imagine they might have some mild bickering over constant disagreements. Obviously still being great friends though

Not really a spoiler. Eli hasn’t been in the group for long, a couple years. She met Josie in College briefly and then pursued a friendship after. Its why Danielle gets Josie a little more, time being a factor. Danielle and her butt heads often. Eli is an optimist, Dan is a realist. Eli is subtle, Dan is direct. Eli is feeling, Dan is thinking. Their friendship can be tenuous at times, Josie is often the glue of their friendship.

Josie doesnt labour under the idea that she’s bad person, she tries her nest to be a good meaning and kind person. She’s very generous with what she can be and likes giving and helping. Her favorite way to do this is to cook and bake for people she cares about. She may struggle with her self worth, but she doesnt struggle with her morals.

16: Is your OC good at giving others validation of their feelings and making them feel understood?

When she’s not at rock bottom and has some emotional energy to throw around, Josie is happy to hear people out and be empathetic. She’s a real introvert so she’s happy to listen to people almost endlessly if it avoids small talk. She has a tendency to get sappy which sometimes makes things weird, but its only because she cares.

27: Does your OC practise any kind of escapism? If yes, what kind?

Daydreaming is a big thing for Jo, she tends to spend more time in her head than in the real world. When she can, she goes for walks with her music and just sorta sorts her thoughts. Other things she does can include playing video games, writing, and lurking on the web

Haha had a feeling it might be too spoilery. Just means we'll get to see it instead of just reading it from an ask! Gotta wonder where Erica turned out so toxic though. But I'm sure we'll see more about the family, can't wait! So, less comic spoilery stuff, Josie a morning person, or a "hits the snooze 27 times before getting out of the house an hour late" person? What about her friends?

Can’t wait to power through this first chapter and start exploring more stuff like this. A lot of Erica’s animosity comes from clashing personalities and good ol fashion sibling jealousy, but then there ARE other factors.

All three girls are not morning people, Eli being almost an exception because she’s punctual and a ray of god damn sunshine once she’s up. Danielle works at night at her shit job and/or as a musician playing gigs. Josie has no excuse except her own weird issues, has a natural inclination towards being a night-owl despite her day job. She’s not hitting the snooze 27 times but she does have to set an alarm early so she can spend 20-30 minutes staring at a wall to boot-up her brain in the morning. Josie does manage with Coffee, Tea, and medication though.

I feel like, as much as I'm sure she'd argue, Josie is actually really smart. She might have learning disabilities, and the anxiety probably weighs her down most, making her have an extremely hard time with school and test taking, but I feel like she's actually really intelligent. Might be a really great problem solver and out of the box thinker, or maybe a great writer. Haha she might write some of the best fanfictions, but no one knows cause she hides her accounts from everyone

She’s a clever foxy for sure. She’s good at looking at problems and finding solutions and yeah kinda out of the box, creative even. Her struggles with purely intellectual topics and years of hard earned education make it hard for her to give herself credit. I will definitely be touching on this topic in future chapters

i knowwww. i’m kind of surprised they would put so much effort into nico and karolina just to break them up (in the same series run!), but that could totally be a red herring so idk. but I have also loved pixie for a long time so I have feelings.
