The glorious talent of @comickergirl has unleashed my true, mighty, handsome, and extremely FLUFFY form...some of the best money I’ve ever spent, Sarah you’re the best, as always. Thank you so much!
Guys, make her draw dragons more, she’s so good at it and I only have so much money. I’m the only one who asks her to draw dragons, this is ridiculous. This is too great a burden for one lonely dragon god to do by themself.
I just finished the last episode of Parks & Recreation.
*eyes tear up and I’m trying not to blubber* I don’t know what to do now…I feel like I’m going through seven years of emotions even though all I did was binge the show over a year-ish. I just… *sniffles* Shit! I’m legit crying right now!! Dammit! I really really enjoyed watching this show…
I was first introduced via gifs and snapshots posted here on Tumblr. I had no idea who the characters were, what the story was–and to be honest, I didn’t care. Seemed funny, sure, but I hadn’t thought there was any good reason I should watch it. Besides, it had plenty of fans–it didn’t need me, and I didn’t need it.
I’ve never been so happy to be so wrong…
What feels like an eternity ago, Sarah, aka @comickergirl, told me about a Ron Swanson quote that perfectly captured Birger. I was both amused and intrigued. I then had given her a mission of paramount importance that she fervently attended: find Ron Swanson quotes that worked for Birger. Eventually, though, the more suggestions I received, the more curious towards the show I became…till it finally happened.
I brought up Netflix and began a journey that took roughly a year to finish. With a few scattered details in mind, I watched…and I fell in love. I fell in love with the characters, the story, the comedy…I fell in love with the theme song. I watched a series that both made me love it for its hilarious jabs at the stupidity of government, and yet learn and care more about it in such a way, I didn’t even realize it, and therefore didn’t fight.
I got to know Amy Poehler thanks to Parks & Recreation, and to know the wild, determined energy of Leslie Knope. I got to know Rashida Jones, and the beautiful, gold-encrusted-rainbow glory of Ann Perkins…and so on for everyone else.
I got to watch seven seasons of Anna X Birger (BrOTP Big Brother) fan fiction…with accuracy so frighteningly close, if it hadn’t begun airing before Frozen came out, I’d be immensely suspicious.
…*starts crying again* I just…I don’t know what to do now. I spent all these months, watching 2-5 episodes every other day, and just adoring every second of it. Damn it, it’s Starcraft all over again!!!
Sarah, if you’re reading this, know I really wanna hug you right now, cause I am legit bawling and getting (one of my three) Frozen body pillow(s) wet…also I'mma go watch Batman V Superman tomorrow, but wHO CARES, I FINISHED PARKS & REC AND I AM DEVESTATED.
