Yumi was always, out of touch with things. Even when she was younger, trends, new terms and overall society reforms always passed over her. She wasn’t going to start now wither, unless it would actually make sense. She feels as if, despite some things going for the better, mankind was simultaneously going smarter and stupider by the years. It was frustrating.
His speech, however, did calm her a bit. It did make sense after all. She was already spiteful whenever society wanted her to convert, she was glad that he agreed to let everyone have their own path, without the need to obey to society’s new trend.
However, she didn’t expect him to ruffle her head. She doesn’t really like people touching her hair, but she made an exception, considering it wasn’t an ill gesture. She flushed a little.
“I-I guess you’re right. You sound like an old man, though. Especially since you just pat my head like I was a lil’ kid.”
