Hello fellow human beings of the forgotten dark past!
Here we are in 2021's dystopian reality, amidst a pandemic, mass extinction risk increasing beyond all hope, infinite wars, perpetual oppression by the wealthiest class, infinite hunger, inequality and sadness, the worst refugee crisis ever in multiple planetary locations, endless capitalistic entropy, ongoing abolishment of free market by tech corporations, politics still based in state privilege, the rise of "Fortress Europe" bullshit ideology, and a whole lot of tragic post modernist stuff afflicting planet Terria.
Well, there's also good news, the true portuguese's hope for galactic exploration and conquering of Andromeda, without Spain this time (just kidding, the dark pope of the sacred hyperdrive cvlt will bless the splitting of a new galaxy, no worries) started 25 years ago with the Lisbon's comix library! 🎉
Well, I was one of many portuguese comics artists, old and new, invited by the junta de freguesia of olivais, (a local village administration council) to draw a comic page dedicated to the Lisbon comics library 25th anniversary. Thanks master M. F. , the editor, captain of the starship, for the invitation (a few of us know that you're also the eye in the pyramid who's pulling the strings). 👁️🏝️
