misconception: That Tim (or any of the other Robins) are just there to make witty jokes and get kidnapped. They don't really help Batman, but instead cause him more problems and make him look weird for having a kid sidekick.

okay seriously. batman can't exist without robin. especially tim, who keeps bruce in line. there are many times tim has called out bruce on his bullcrap.
I’ll never get tired of this panel for so many reasons. (1) As endearing as it is, Bruce protecting Tim from dangerous missions is equally
ooooof this exchange always gets me. not only was bruce gone for MONTHS nearly dying from a pandemic he contracted, dealing with no-man land
when bruce retired as batman (briefly) tim was left alone with gotham and tim did his best to cope with being a hero and not having a good batman.
when bruce "died", tim did his best to bring bruce back and was the only one who believed he was alive. tim literally is bruce's shoulder to lean on.
i believe every robin keeps bruce from going apeshit.
