YES, yes they’re! They’re traditional chilean Independence Day food, which is this week, becase is not just a day here XD!
Empanadas are a kind of salty pastrie turn over filled with onion, meat, a boiled egg, an olive and sometimes raisins - I love them with raisins but most people don’t. Mostly latin amercans empanadas are fried, but traditional chilean empanadas are baked, and they’re really tasty! :9 Anticuchos are small pieces of diferents kinds of skewered meat, red pepper and onion, that you barbecued and marinated in vinager and spices. And in the top they have a piece of bread and I want like three of them right now!
