“When I was king I was king We had everything” My family and I went to Multnomah Falls for a hiking trip over the weekend (when I drew this like a year ago. :’) ), and my pictures of the waterfalls (might upload a couple of them (Read: did not upload an of them)), combined with the song I was listening to on the drive home made me really wanna draw this. This is a character from a novel I'm working on by the name of Tenchi Fujioka. This is actually a scene from that story. Tenchi is a prince from a race known as the Shadowlords. He gets sucked into a war with his kind and the Lightwalkers, forced to fight on the Lightwalkers side for a long period of time at the threat of hurting the ones he loves. The necklace belonged to one of the two people he considered to be like a brother. But that is about all that has stayed from the original concept since my girlfriend and I are making some serious edits to everything. This scene is Tenchi reminiscing on them. This song used for inspiration is I Was King by One OK Rock. Fits this whole scene perfectly honestly! Surprising how much it fits him and it did end up on his theme song list.
