when i get up and out early enough in the morning to stop at starbucks on the way to work

when the kids on masterchef junior give each other thumbs up when one of them gets good feedback

when dogs pull on their leash to greet me on the street

1. The Bestie @32memories booked her flights for her October visit last night, I get to squish her at least once before she comes for Christmas.2. I may use almost all of my leave by July but I get to spend it with the most awesome people going to the theatre, conventions and concerts.3. My kitties, one of which is snuggled into my side as I type this and the other is running round the house like the nutcase she is. 4. Being stuck in fandom holes and knowing that some of your closest friends are there with you, enabling each other deeper and deeper ;P5. Coming home to packages. Tbh I was struggling to think of something and then remembered that a Jemma DVD got delivered today <3

Mass Effect! Which has been instrumental in keeping my head somewhat above water over the last year. 

Berena! Is, I believe making me happy. It’s making me have a lot of feelings, anyway, which is kind of the same thing. Yes. ;)

Friends! I am so, so lucky to have awesome, delightful, excellent friends who I care about very much and who make me happy a lot.

Dogs! Dogs are always a happy thing. There are several truly excellent dogs in my life right now.

@commanderliaras yes!!! Bernie doesn’t give a shit about ppl contacting her - everyone she need to speak to it at work and nothing is so important that it cant wait till tomorrow. 

But then Serena is like, Bernie why are you always silent? I txted you to get milk/check in/see if youre coming over tonight and you didn’t say anything. and Bernie is like, my phone died and Serena is like, oh okay its no big deal

Only Bernie can tell it is in fact A Big Deal and Klaxons go off in her head bc r a d i o s i l e n c e and she goes out and buys a million chargers and never every lets her phone die again

Oh my god Moomins were my childhood. They were on every weekday at 5pm and you bet yo ass I would be glued to the screen each day ��
