headcanon + leaves

Once on set for her solo music video shoot, in the process of posing on a few essential angles, Hara’s hair got tangled to an elongated tree branch. They had to cut certain strands for detachment. While at it, her eyes were tightly closed as though to suppress tears from shedding, only fluttering them open yet again after the stylist’s cue. As she was adjusting to the sight by blinking as to get rid of the blurry images, a staff member handed her something soft. Thinking it was a handkerchief, she used it to wipe a portion of her face which apparently made everyone around the area laugh. Turned out it was a green flattened structure --- a leaf.

"Take off your big pants let me see your little ones.” She said tugging on his jeans, she wasn’t really paying attention to what the other said to say about it or the fact that she just met him. Spencer was completely focus on seeing the little pants he was talking about.  

Whether he kicked her or she simply tugged too hard she ended up falling back on her ass. For a second her features looked as if she was going to cry -- but instead laughed filled the air. Rubbing her butt as she got up, her eyes narrowed at the men. “Let me see your small pants or I will steal them myself. I want some small pants too mother fucker.”

Yumi sat there, legs demurely crossed over the other as she listened to the words that slipped past the males lips – Her expression blank as her eyes continued to stare over him; slightly glazed over. She didn’t realize that she was chewing on her lower lip almost the entire time, but she couldn’t help it, it was something out of habit. His words seemed to have pierced her directly in her heart, taken aback truthfully. “Oh ~” — She cursed herself silently since that was the only words she could get past her lips. Why couldn’t she muster up anything deep inside of her to talk to him, to get them out of whatever they were in. Before she knew it she felt something fall over her cheek; a tear. She tore her gaze from him as she brought her hand up and wipe her cheek a bit as well as her eyes one good time before she glanced over at him and nodded, “we could still try”. Her voice cracked there for a second, causing her to clear her throat immediately as she nodded her head a couple of times. 

“I have faith in us..” She put on a small smile, at least attempted to try and smile at him. It was hard, but she tried to put off as if she was taking everything well – She was that type of person. But this time she wasn’t playing it off so well, anyone could tell by her stoic expression that she wasn’t okay. Slowly she inhaled a deep breath before leaning back into the cushioning of the couch. “But, if this is it.. can I have one last hug?” It was a simple request, though she understood if it couldn’t be done. She knew if it was the other way around she didn’t know if she could do it. Deep down she knew this was going to happen as well — Their busy schedules was always butting heads and they hardly ever saw one another unless she had schedules bringing her to the studio where he was at. The late nights wondering where the other was or how they were was always so stressful, but when they were together it was perfect. Tapping her fingers on her legs she lowered her gaze from him and looked down for a moment, “I wish you didn’t feel this way”. 

The silence soon set it, It wasn’t awkward, she just didn’t know what to say or even do in this moment. She brought her hands up to rub her face as she allowed her lids to fall over her eyes and she sat there for a moment longer. “This was bound to happen one day..” She casually brought her shoulders up for a shrug as she pushed herself up from the couch and walked towards the male, leaning down to press a kiss to his forehead quickly. “I’m just a phone call away if you ever need anything..”
