...I really love the way you interweave everything so intricately. Like I won’t lie, no matter how many times I watch the show I forget the small details without looking it up, and you have managed to put them in there like we are actually living in Hawkins and that’s amazing, my dude. That’s just plain amazing. Makes me wonder when I write my own fics and stories if it’s up to snuff LOL...
...The way you explore nightmares is really well done. While I’ve never been taken over by a mind flayer and had to resurrected from the dead like billy has in this story, nightmares can be all-encompassing and you did an incredible job of showing how it it’s like to wake up from one. I felt like I was there myself, like it was MY dream...
...Ugh this is so gorgeously done. It feels like a victory. They’ve come so long and then they get to this point and it’s like that swan dive that is just necessary and omg my HEART.This story was absolutely everything, and I mean everything. It was utterly gorgeous, transcendent and beyond. The way you captured these two and how you had the growth between them was just...perfection. I want to cuddle this close to my own heart and keep it forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
they left a monster of a comment for me and it had me in legitimate tears by the end. they included so many bits and pieces that they enjoyed and it meant so much, especially because i didn’t feel that confident or like i achieved what i set out to when i finally got this posted to the exchange. i don’t know their tumblr url or if they even have one but just wanted to say again how much i appreciate your encouragement and kindness and i’m so glad you enjoyed!!

I love the way Billy's mom is in this and just... everything about it. I love how Billy feels about Steve and all the details in this like how Billy is with girls and all the dumb stuff he says to Tommy and how he's really only into guys. And then really into Steve. And how Steve handles it - doesn't get it, but isn't mean or horrible about it. Again, thank you for writing this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Secondly, I love how deep, deep, DEEP Nancy and Jonathan both got into Steve's head with their theory that Billy is into him (which, like, d u h, Steve). You wrote the way Steve spiraled and read into all of their reactions so brilliantly. Every little thing between them, Steve is like "but is it GAY THO???" and it's fucking delightful. I kept making myself giggle because when Steve would have those moments, I kept thinking of those dumb "what are we" memes.
Following that, I love how Steve was equally as quick to dismiss the theory when Billy starts in on his bro-y shit. The idea is all-consuming and then like PFFT, yeah, right. That's so realistic??? I've definitely been through that, Steve, I feel your pain, bruh...

congratulations on finishing! i for one definitely identified with your author’s note on a spiritual level lol, rewriting and editing until i don’t even know what it is that im reading anymore. but don’t ever apologise for writing too much! it just means there’s more harringrove for people to savour :D listen, im still not the biggest fan of ABO, but the reason im here is because, aside from the heat and hormonal stuff, you still make it sound like *them* which is pretty special. i think bottom!billy getting into that subspace with steve, having steve take care of him for a couple of days, sounds like it could happen regardless of whether it’s an ABO story or not. does that make sense??? anyway, i love the whole marathon sex aspect of this, and the scene at the end where the bite mark almost feels like a proposal, a ring that billy is showing off? lol, it’s so cute. anyway, i hope you’re proud of this, and i hope you keep writing/doing art/contributing to this fandom, bc i seriously enjoy it. thankyou so much for sharing your talent with us! <3

Man I can't tell you how much I flailed when I first saw this. Heart eyes forever, it's AMAZING!!!! I love how much life you've captured in this, how I can almost feel the twinkle of Christmas lights in the air around me, how the mood is just full of contentment and satiation, the sweat glistening on their skin, the snacks, the presents addressed to both of them so we know this isn't hidden, just omg..... I could stare at this forever, thank you so much for sharing it <333
