Summary: “Pokémon Relict" is a story about a human who is summoned by a bored god, forced to ascend a tower with a team of pokémon and collect the god's artifacts in an effort to save its abode, Destiny Tower, only to be met with a devastating truth at its peak.

But what if that human was not from the pokémon world?

Join Mallie as she is unceremoniously dumped at Arceus's hooves, assigned to retrieve his Plates without so much as a "Please". She doesn't know a single thing about pokémon. Not about the creatures, not about their culture, and certainly not about their god that is currently breathing down her neck as they ascend Destiny Tower. The only thing keeping her moving forward is a single wish once her duty is complete, promised by Arceus himself.

Her wish? To die To finish what she started.

But as she ascends, Mallie soon finds herself embroiled in feelings for these otherworldly "pokémon" the more time she spends with them, feelings that directly clash with the wish she holds close to her heart.

Will she see her one desire through? Or will she let herself be dragged into the world of pokémon, never to part with it ever again?

Monthly Comment Exchange [April 2026]

Hi!!! So this has been on my mind for a while now, and I've finally decided to take the plunge and do it:

Monthly comment exchanges!! Tumblr edition this time

This will be a "I rub my back and you rub mine" type of event, where you can post your own fics to have others comment on it, and you can comment on other fics in exchange. I know a bunch of lovely fics that can slip through the cracks because casual readers may tend to go for the high

WARNING: You may not necessarily get comments on your fic in an exchange. It is unfortunate, but it happens sometimes, me included. So don't be discouraged!! I will also do my best to comment on everyone's fics, so that everyone can at least get one comment.

This will be a semi-trial run as I've never hosted a comment exchange on Tumblr before. So some rules or formatting might change during the first few months!

Comments are due 31st October 11:59pm Singapore time. I will send a reminder three days before the deadline to those who have not submitted at least two comments. I WILL BE CHECKING EVERYONE.

You must comment on at least one work from two different authors, each comment with a word count of 100 words or higher. But if you can leave more, the better! Please use a word counter if you're not sure how many words you've written.

You must opt in for concrit if you want it.

PLEASE NOTE

If you do not submit 2 comments (of 100 words each) by the deadline, you will have 48 hours to submit them.

If you still do not submit the reviews when the 48 hours are up, you will receive 1 strike (I will be keeping track).

On the 3rd strike, I will block you. This will prevent you from participating in future comment exchanges by me.

This makes it easier to keep track of authors who actively participate in these exchanges with goodwill and those who don’t. So please keep this in mind!
