Story that has been passed around a bunch today. This happened in my town and this is my write-up of the incident. This will probably be a bit more palatable than what was posted on The Root and other sites.
Some of my friends live here, but were thankfully okay.
(Also shameless self-promotion of something I wrote, but eh whatever)
We have this weekly mini critique session in Commerce Journal and I won during Week 1: Macro photography category. As for the prize, I have received a pretty watch from our photography director. Yay for that! I could not convey how much I am so blessed with my life right now. Being able to pursue my dreams to be a journalist, a photographer and a writer is bit by bit settling on its places. A long way to go, but I'm geared and ready all throughout the twists and turns that awaits me. This is what I want.
As cliché as this may sound, but we must really try and try until we succeed.
I am now officially a trainee of UST 's College of Commerce's official publication. I know that I will encounter tougher duties and a much loaded schedule; however, this just motivates me to strive harder and be much more responsible. Thank you God!
