This hero right here was awarded the Silver Star for his actions during one of the first firefights of the deployment. He was attached to the team as a direct support commo guy. His previous deployment was in another war zone with the door kicker company of the group where he distinguished himself valorously in combat as well. He left the team & deployment early to attend selection, which he passed & moved back to group as an operator. I'm sure he even went on to bigger & better things.
