Common barbel!
It inhabits rivers and streams with fast currents, hiding during the day and only coming out to feed and move about in the dark. They like to band together when they overwinter and when they're less active in the day!
First fish in 2018!!! Barbus barbus! Made a decent fight in the hard current. Can‘t describe how happy I am, since this one isn‘t only the first fish this year, it‘s also my first fish since last summer. Also lost 2 good fish today and yesterday.
