I really liked One Day. I read the book and also I'm a sucker for romance.
Love Me If You Dare is a French film I also really liked. Fun fact, I watched it because of Key. It's actually really cute.
(Both films are about two friends becoming lovers. Wow.)
And I also recommend Spirited Away because animation is lovely and Hayao Miyazaki is lovely.

Would you rather be blind or deaf, why?
Deaf. Being blind would be the worst thing ever (even though my eyesight is terrible already) and I just... I don't know where to start on how terrible it would be to be blind.
Scary movies won't be as scary when I'm deaf. (Of course, same goes for when I'm blind, but sound effects are scary too.) I won't be able to listen to music but I'm sure I'll live.
