I really wonder what Karl Marx would have had to say about AI and the pushing of it to replace jobs so the bourgeoisie wouldn't have to hire actual people.

Liberals are so fucking weird man. Do they not realize they’re feeding into capitalism and oppression or are they just blind?
I do accept that there is a problem within the Communist community to outright deny the words of those that proclaim themselves to be Communist while not addressing the major differences, and further, not educating others on what those differences are. And this is further complicated by those that follow systems based on Communist ideals, but have been twisted.
Stalinism is a fucking farce. I hate Stalinists with the same passion that I hate fascists. The belief that Communism should ever be a top-down government that demands a method of working from people is based in hate and a forceful, totalitarian ideology that has permeated the West for centuries. This is why Communism needs to be built from the ground up. Truly, I fear Communism where the leadership is people that look like me. Strong voices lead to power, and in a culture that already rewards a white male patriarchy, even Communism can end up becoming the same cult of personality and terror campaign we saw in the Soviet Union and others connected to it.
We must collect that and call it out. We must educate our friends that this was not Communism. But we must further accept that it was perfectly capable of wearing the mask of Communism because of the words it used. It's a complex and fine line that much of the modern movement still fails to grasp.
The 1900's were the era of personality, the era when voices were gaining the ability to reach far more ears than they ever had before. And while those voices, be they Stalin, Hitler, FDR, all proclaimed their seemingly separate ideologies, and while those ideologies may have seemed to have root in truly radical ideas, at core, they are all formed on a basis of the same white male European imperialism that nationalism and our countries have been based on for centuries. The basic nouns could be interchangeable, but the actions were the same. This is why, in our present, when information can spread rapidly, but from the ground up, not from the top down, we must be both eager to educate and willing to speak loudly, and most importantly, to change our actions. Demonstrate what makes Communism separate from capitalism. Demonstrate why it is functional. Demonstrate why it's better. Connect with others, of different races, sexes, ideals. Ensure that the loudest voices are many, and not singular. That is the only way to ensure that those that wear the mask of Communism while committing tremendous acts of evil are prevented from ever representing us again.
