Gay people CAN say I love you, but only during very appropriately timed zombie apocalypses, so instead it’s always gotta be some shit like “Just pretend like you’re asleep”
kiss from a rose karaoke scene you will always be famous to me
"Byler has to be canon! None of this writing makes sense if they're not!" My brother in arms, you have no idea the amount of queerbait I have consumed in my time on this planet.
"The duffers wouldn't write something like this without any pay off!" Do the names Erik Kripke and Tim Minear mean nothing to you?
trobed and they watch romcoms and reenact all the cheesy scenes together in a grossly mushy way
Sooo i cannot stop thinking about the fact that abed, being "not normal", seeing the world completely differently, having hallucinations
Is also him breaking the forth wall (but not always, bc sometimes he thinks he's looking at the audience but he's actually looking at the second, first or third wall
There's such a delicate balance between abed understanding the inner mechanics of the show he's in (like him knowing that they're stop motion animated in Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas), and also having serious symptoms. If we met abed in real life, after some incidents we might call him insane (again, the Christmas being the most obvious example). But in the show it's treated both like he's "not normal" and like he knows something about his world that others don't
(Btw my friend who's schizophrenic described some symptoms that are close to some of abed's experiences, but also i know fuck all about different disorders so don't take my words seriously)
But what i want to really talk about is how troy is frequently able to see the world the way abed sees it - like when in this Christmas episode at the end he also starts seeing everything stop motion animated. I cannot remember any other examples, but in the show it's like abed has some sort of magical abilities (abed is magical, Troy told me that), and has the ability to see and experience things that others cannot. And troy just... joins him? is able to see the world through abed's eyes? They share one braincell what can i say
Their connection and understanding are absolutely magical is what I'm saying
I started watching Community and it’s safe to say I just found an EIFFEL TOWER I NEED to try
