Ah, the old naming conventions. ‘Repossession’ instead of theft, ‘waste-collecting’ for assassination, and ‘community contribution’ for extortion.

PCU and paedophilia
Hey just a curious individual that has been on the realm for the past 7 years with a genuine question.
How come the PCU are so prude and strict against paedophiles when their community owner (Perroy) was charged by the police of being in possession of nude photos of his 17 year old girlfriend which he met via roleplay on Argent Dawn? Perroy was 21 at that time and L. was only 17 years old.
This is a genuine concern and also something many individuals on the realm should be vary of and constantly reminded. Perroy has actually groomed a minor via wow roleplay and has had sexual relations with her and even though they were from two different countries he visited her abroad until one day she had enough and spoke out. That was a prime example of child grooming, something Perroy and his upper echelon likes to deflect to individuals who disagree with them taking a hold of the realm. This is sickening and also something the good people of Argent Dawn should never forget.
I believe most of the new PCU members (poor souls gutted away from the community the moment they first create their roleplaying character on AD, with time trained into upvoting/thread bumping/mass flagging drones) are oblivious to the fact that their leader has been known as a blatant child groomer who holds the most power on this realm by brute force.
So, COAD, and every sane and responsible individual reading this page, I have a suggestion for all of you. What grinds the gears of the PCU collective the most is when you expose either the forums or trade chat in game all their dirty laundry. The forums are taken by them at the moment (I have never in all my RP career seen the forums in a sadder state than they are now) and the mods refuse to ban the regular PCU wasps that strike at anyone who dares speak against Perroy. So, echoing some of the previous COAD posts, I propose we bombard trade chat every day, the last bastion of Argent Dawn free speech, with the message:
“Perroy, the leader of the PCU is known to be a child groomer and has kept nude photos of a 17 year old girl”
Preferably with a link to the COAD page, particularly this post.
Make a macro out of it and remind trade chat that Perroy is a pedophile on a power trip at least once a day using an alt below level 10 (this is really important as they can’t track you via wow armory or check pvp, the character needs to be under level 10 for your identity to be safe).
Let us show that when we put our minds to it we can shine a light on the filth that Perroy and his menagerie are hiding under the rug. The cleansing of Argent Dawn begins with small steps like these, because, as I have said before, the vast majority of the 200+ online people they boast to have every day are new to RP and oblivious to the fact that they are being lead by a known sex-offender. Chip the PCU piece by piece, member by member, and, with time, the maniacally power-tripped paedophile will lose the war on our beautiful realm.
I was having a discussion with an acquaintance not long ago, and they were playing devil’s advocate about the ‘good’ the PCU did for roleplay citing that some of the biggest community events on the server during the end of Legion and early BfA were if not PCU run then at least heavily PCU involved. Specifically they referenced the War of Thorns mega event that ran during the change from Legion into BfA. I remember that the PCU were heavily involved (Or at least had a notable showing) in that event, but I can’t seem to find anything to say if they were actually the ones organising it at the time, and people I’ve asked gave differing answers. I’d like to carry on believing that they were -not- the driving force at the time, but I’m seriously questioning my own recollection of it at this point
Does anyone at COAD remember who was leading that event? If for my own sanity/peace of mind than for anything else.

CoAD Team Response:
The oft-mentioned “Well PCU did good” argument always hinges on the apparent quantity of RP events they ‘hosted’. What is almost always forgotten is that the PCU actually did almost nothing in planning. Every event/campaign followed a set formulaic pattern of events, with merely set dressing (the zone) changing. Anyone could have done what they did, and they often did, they simply didn’t advertise and aggrandize themselves to hysteria levels like the PCU did.
Perroy always loved his McCampaign because all he had to do was gather his lieutenants in voice chat and dictate to them who they should grief and gank when the PvP element (which always ended up overwriting the RP element) came into play.
The PCU was involved in the War of Thorns arc of events, but so was practically everyone on Argent Dawn (including ourselves at the time). Perroy made multiple attempts to make it seem as if he was the one in control of the whole thing at the time but he was plainly not. This is what ultimately led the PCU to petulantly declaring that only THEIR campaigns mattered and only people THEY liked could attend while at the same time DEMANDING everyone acknowledge their headcanon as superior to everyone else.
They were very much not the driving force but became the screeching incels near the end when many of its members - Boush, Fearless, Morsteth, Stormbinder, Teyha etc all loudly declared on the forums and made cringe worthy slop-posts stating that THEY had burned Teldrassil down personally.
Before the thing had even happened in game.
