I've made a lot of good competitive Pokemon, but my Sylveon, Euphoria, is the best hands down. The Hidden Ability-Hyper Voice combo is already deadly, but the Quick Claw just makes it unfair. IPL SHIT DRAFT

So welcome to the explanation of my shit draft for the International Pokemon League/IPL which i am in for the second season. During the draft we followed the GBA draft which means we have our OWN tiers (5 of them) and each of the 16 coaches had 6 free picks, 1 from every tier except tier 3 which you had to have 2 mons from and then 400 points (extra based on what mega you chose) and you had to make the best team possible and now enough of the rant lets go to my picks.

Pick 1 - Tornadus-Therian - Tier 1

So my first pick of the draft was Tornadus-Therian, a mon which i fell in love with since i first used it. It has such a good movepool with support moves like taunt, toxic, u-turn, knock off and even more. It can also hit very hard with a good movepool with hurricane, heat wave, dark pulse/crunch , extrasensory, superpower and sludge bomb/wave. With a base 121 speed and regenerator to cover the rocks weakness i wouldve been sad to see someone else use it.

Pick 2 - Weavile - Tier 1 (180 points)

This was an impulse pick tbh. I didnt plan to grab it up but then when i saw it I felt a rush in me and i scooped it up. Its a great mon with dark and ice stab which hits very hard. It also has great movepool with things like low kick and poison jab. With swords dance it can sweep(like couldnt before). The speed and the attack made me feel like it was worth it.

Pick 3 - Milotic - Tier 2

There are 3 reasons i picked this thing up. Its a bulky water which at the time were going so fast so i wanted to pick a good one early and i was actually surprised it lasted so long.  Second, I wanted some bulk to go with fragile weavile and somewhat tornadus. Lastly, 2 other coaches wanted it as well so sniping them was fun. But tbh this is a great mon with recover, scald and marvel scale it can be a bitch to take it down  and i like it so yea, lets move on.

Pick 4 - Flygon - Tier 3 

Flygon mightnt be the greatest dragon type in the format due to its typing and stats but it had one thing which put it above everything else, hazard removal. Even though Torn and milotic doesnt mind it, weavile hates them and the eariler i get them the better they are. It also has stab eq and is immune to ground types as well which is super good.And it was the beggining of my F/D/S core.

Pick 5 - Registeel - Tier 4

So registeel is more bulk to go along with milotic with an impressive 80/150/150 and it a pure steel type which helped with the rocks weakness. It can spread status’ with t-wave and toxic and hit with mostly either iron head or seismic toss. It can also be ran a bit more offensivaly with curse which might be helpful. It can set up rocks which none of my mons could do yet.

Pick 6 - Diancie - Tier 4 ( 60 points)

So this mon finished my F/D/S core which i wanted to get asap. It’s a cleric, stealth rocker in one which is great. It has very good bulk but bad hp. Its another bird and normal check which can take some pressure away from registeel. It can also be ran offensivley if I want with rock polish and calm mind.

Pick 7 - Emboar - Tier 3

A very hard hitter which gave me more offensive pressure with reckless flare blitz and wild charde as well as powerful fighting stab in superpower. Its a fire type to complement my milotic and the future grass type in a F/W/G core. It hits superhard which is the only reason i wanted it. It also has priority in sucker punch which is also a goon ming game tool.

Pick 8 - Celebi - Tier 2 (120 points)

So I finished my fire/water/grass core which a very good mon in a draft league in celebi. It has a base 100 stats which is very good because i can run it in many diffrent ways. Nasty pass or sd pass. It has a super deep move pool with healing wish,recover and perish song to name a few moves that can be useful. Its another cleric and stealth rocker which too much is never bad.

Pick 9 - Rotom- Tier 5

Rotom is a spin blocker, ground immunity, electric type with good covarage. No more to add as i think i wont feature it in many battles.

Pick 10 - Gligar- Tier 4 (60 points)

Gligar is another defogger which doesnt force me to bring flygon even though they are both weak to ice ice baby. With eviolite roost and u-turn it can become a great physical pivot to help tornadus and weavile get in free switches. More stealth rock, a flying type which isnt weak to rocks and can pivot around. It can still do things like gliscor with toxic and taunt but doesnt have poison heal instead it has immunity which unfortunatly cant be run with defog due to it learining defog in gen 4 and when gligar evolves with immunity in gen 5/6 it gets poison heal.

Pick 11 - Mega Beedril - Mega pick 

My last pick was my mega which some people might have considerd risky because i mightnt have gotten it but i didnt want mega beedrill. I wanted to pick mega scizor or gardevoir second but both went before i could get them so i left my mega till later and when i started thinking about my mega, it was pick 7 and i was nearly sure i wouldve got the bee. It super fast and it hits like a fucking truck with adaptability poison jab and u-turn/x-sciscor. It also complemneted a volt/turn core with torn-t, flygon and rotom.
