Non-spoilery comment on Baldur's Gate 3 :
I am DELIGHTED with story mode in this game. For most games I've played on story mode it means nerfed combat which results in combat-centric games getting less interesting and platform/jumping oriented games remaining just as unbeatable.
In this game, you can basically choose your style - brute force with combat, sneak around or jump over obstacles, talk your way out of situations, skip entire parts of the game until you're confident you can do them. And it's still very challenging on story mode, never once have I felt as if I'm playing a lesser version of the game. I'm feeling the cobwebs being swept out of my brain here, I can take my time to think about things and try any number of ways to solve the same problem. And I know I can solve them all just with patience and brainpower.
I love this game.
