Completely pointless head canons (17/?)
No one in the Baudelaire family has stayed up until midnight on New Years. The same would be true for the Snickets, but it wasn’t ever intentional.

Completely pointless head canons (14/?)
Lemony is extremely short. Despite his mother being average height and his father being on the tall side, Lemony is a short guy. He’s not that much taller than Kit, who’s on the petite side for a woman. Jacques is the tallest of the Snicket siblings, and that makes pictures of the three of them amusing.
Was it the stress of VFD? Or the fact that he was homeless in his early teen years? Or side effect of medications? Or bad luck? We’ll never know.
Completely pointless head canons (12/?)
All the people who have been able to tell the Denouement triplets apart with complete accuracy are dead: their parents, Bertrand, and Kit.
Everyone else just guesses. Some are better guessers than others, but no one except those four could ever be completely sure of who was who.

Despite being the tallest Snicket, Jacques is shorter than the Denouements and a little bit taller than Bertrand, so in terms of his contemporaries, Jacques is relatively not tall.

E. Snicket’s (aka Little Snicket) first name is Elizabeth, and because she was given the nickname Lily/Lil, everyone just started calling her Little Snicket.

Contrary to popular belief, Captain Widdershins’ first name isn’t Thursday, but is in fact Roland, in honor of the legendary Childe Rowland who ventured into Elfland to save his sister (and two older brothers who tried to save her) after she went around a church widdershins rather than clockwise to retrieve a ball they had been playing with.

Beatrice the Second also wrote letters to Frank and Ernest Denouement - they just didn’t write a book about it.
The two of them had spent years in a pretty dark place - losing Dewey hurt too much, and it was very hard to be in the same room for a while. They had their own separate journeys for a couple of years, but eventually reunited on the anniversary of the fire where the Hotel once was. Together, the two of them figure out exactly where the sugar bowl is. They reminisce together and decide to open up an inn together, called The Index. Neither is up to running a grand hotel again. They’ve been through too much and feel a lot less ambitious.
Beatrice meets them at The Index. They had spent years wondering what had happened to Kit and their niece/nephew. Finding out Beatrice is alive makes them feel happier than they have felt in a decade.
Though everyone comments on just how much Beatrice looks like Kit, Frank and Ernest see their brother in their niece’s face.
The triplets show Beatrice a grandfather clock, made from the salvaged gears from the clock at Hotel Denouement that her father tended, and they begin to tell her the story of how three identical triplets came to be on different sides of the schism.
