What a ride this the Hollywood Fringe Festival has been. My mission was to have an audience member see someone on stage that does not look like them, talk like them, share their views, share life experiences, but have a true emotional connection with. To audiences feel understood and accepted by creating a room of inclusion, unification, and warmth. Art is a unifier, from music to paintings to theatre. Igniting feelings and emotions reminding us we are more alike than different. We all want to feel valuable and that we matter. And as I move on from this, that will continue to be my mission. - - - My heart belongs to the Complex Hollywood team for giving us a home to perform in.
