candlelight date ♥ hailey & nina
{ / hailey stopped her car in front of nina’s house - actually, her parents’ - and looked through her texts, a bright smile on her lips as she replied to nina. it was her birthday and she couldn’t leave it without a celebration. and she only thought that because it was nina’s birthday. when it came to her birthday, she was okay to go through it without any kind of event, like it was an ordinary day. but she wanted nina to feel special, she wanted her to feel loved. there was a small cake on the backseat with some candles she bought especially for the occasion. hailey was glad nina agreed to come with her, or she would have to eat the cake all alone – which usually wasn’t a bad thing, but she had bought it for nina. when hailey spotted her on the other side of the street, she opened up the car’s window and waved to her friend. once the other girl was inside of the car, hailey leaned to place a brief kiss on her lips.} happy birthday, nina-yah. { / she said, smiling.} is there any place you want to go? i’m your driver for the night.
( * as soon as she had replied, nina was already on her way out simply grabbing her coat and telling her parents that she'd be heading out with hailey today. they seemed to be pleased about it, considering how they knew hailey. not exactly as well as she did, but still. they were glad to see someone trying to do something for her. she would slip on the coat, taking her bag along with her as she would get out of the house, her eyes easily searching for the other's car before she paused to see it just before her, a smile on her lips as she had waved at the other. soon, she was slipping into her car, leaning forward to be able to capture the other's lips for a kiss, a smile lingering as she had pulled away ) thank you. would it be weird if i said that i was actually hoping you'd come around today? ( * she tilts her head to the side, leaning back towards her seat to be able to buckle herself in before pursing her lips together in thought ) i'm not sure where i want to go. maybe somewhere we can see the city lights at?
