Day 5 of Spring Training 2018! Btw, this training isn’t called Spring Training to get ready for a Spring body, but because Springtime is an excellent time to detox and get moving after the slower lifestyle associated with Winter. Components of health-related fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and body composition. Here I demonstrate dynamic muscular endurance, using light weight and high reps on step-back lunges, with a twist. I usually do an exercise for 30 seconds or 15-20 reps. The yoga pose is Trikonasana, Triangle, which is an example of static muscular endurance, as I hold it for up to 10 slow breath cycles, strength, and flexibility. It takes strength to build flexibility.
