What I found at the Pikashop in Mexico City! OH MY GOD! I NEED ASTRO AND URAN OR I'LL DIE!
350 MXN Each one of them means I have to tighten my belt during Holy Week and for about two weeks of my university allowance... Unless my INAH scholarship arrives 🫠
The same seller had some amazing Astro Boy stuff, my eyes were drawn to these two figures (this isn't a picture from the store, it's just an example)
350 MXN Each one, which in theory are a good price, considering that the gentleman has a shop in a square and that raises the price a bit.Although I have to be honest and say that I got spoiled by the other seller who sold me figures of this same type for 250 MXN (one figure) and 600 MXN for 3 more figures later...But why lie to you, I need them in my collection! XD
I also had the Ochanomizu and Astro Lego-style set before it was activated. It cost around 1000 MXN, something like that, I don't remember if it was exactly or a little more. Anyway, wow, it was beautiful to see it in person. I didn't buy it because OBVIOUSLY I don't have that kind of cash on hand... And even if I did, I have nowhere to put it in my tiny room, the size of a Korean student's apartment xD
It had more things, a little simpler but just as great, although personally I wouldn't rush to buy them because they don't really appeal to me, but that doesn't make them any less impressive. For example, some new Astroboy McDonald's figures (not from the 2009 movie, other ones) in perfect condition,an Astroboy mask (he told me he got several and now he only has two left) and an adorable little inflatable Astroboy hanging in his business (although it wasn't for sale, it was his and only for display haha).
In another plaza, called "Fan Center" (my special place) I went to pick up an order, then I went to a manga shop and I almost died when I found this gem:
At 600 MXN, I was about to swipe my card and take it, but since I left without permission, it definitely wouldn't be a good idea for my dad to see 600 MXN less in my account on the purchase record linked to him xd (Besides, I didn't have 600 MXN in cash on hand, I only left with the bare minimum for my order 🥲🫠).
What hurt the most was that they told me they usually sell out quickly, so I have to put on my best innocent face and use my only-child powers to see if my parents will agree to buy it xDD
Although I saw this same product for 400 MXN on Marketplace, that product is already semi-used, and this one is so, SO new that one of the staff members put it away for me to prevent it from getting damaged because of my pathetic and clumsy attempts to arrange it (I wanted to avoid the embarrassment of not buying anything, but that incident didn't help hahaha).
