So my computer crashed real bad this time...

My PC had the ill-conceived notion that it was allowed to crash and corrupt all of its driver and registry files while getting stuck in a repair loop that the repair loop help guides couldn’t fix. I stopped off to buy another solid state on the way to work, made it primary, did a fresh install of Windows and rerouted My Documents back to the old one. Nice try, computer.

OK, not really but it isn't turning on so I'm computerless for a while until the shop fixes it TnT

This means no livestreams, videos, art, etc for a while.

VR Software Issues

Just a warning if you ever get yourself a virtual reality setup you better be prepared to become your own IT specialist. And Google search is your friend.

Just got my VR set as an early birthday gift for myself, and for 2 days I have had hardware and software issues ranging from bad firmware update turning a device into a brick (found a fix), then having to deal with the SteamVR program not running (there are so many ways this can go wrong and I’m still trying to find/fix this), and trying to figure out why my headset isn’t powering on (still working on this...).

I’m aware not everyone has these issues, but dangit this is super annoying.
