Okay, who’s ready to play Computer Crashes Every God Damn Time I Use The Pen Like Ten Minutes In And Lenovo Has Not Provided A Fix For This Problem That’s Been Putting My Career On Hold For SIX MONTHS—

Omg i was waaaay over saving for a new desktop computer???? Like I have a laptop (10 years old now ;-;) and a Chromebook (cheap as hell and not really good for much besides writing on the go), but I can probably get a new laptop and a new desktop?????

so today i just said “fuck it” and installed ts3. i was fully expecting it to only run at very low graphics, and still.

i installed all EPs because tbh if i can’t play with all EPs there really isn’t a point to installing it.

surprisingly.... it can run ts3 with no problems. we’re talking about a cc and mod free game tho, so obviously that can change if i add some cc.  it runs a bit slow, but it did not hinder my gameplay at all (i actually played with a townie for a while to get the feel of the game with this card), and it’s not slower than your average ts3 game. the graphics card did not make any weird noises, my computer or game didn’t crash even once, and most importantly, nothing overheated. i’m touching my computer tower right now and it’s cold, while the game is open.

so my plan is... i cannot fill this game with cc, obviously, but i can put some cc in it depending on the pictures i wanna take, instead of having all cc in game at all times. which means i’ll have no issues making poses, for example, i can test them just fine in game if i don’t have a lot of cc.

i won’t be using reshade because that’s flying too close to the sun, and honestly, i don’t need it. it makes my life easier when it comes to editing, but i prefer taking a bit longer editing than risking not playing my game again.

so that’s about it. baby steps, i can’t strain this too much, but so far so good.

kind of a random question but i recently fried my old macbook and i want to switch to pc because macs have gotten so expensive but i dont know shit about computers and finding a good model is proving to b confusing.... does anybody have recommendations for a decently priced pc laptop? id mostly be using it for schoolwork/social media/videos (and some gaming but i dont need like a heavy duty gaming computer yknow)

finally got my new computer! thank god the bestbuy dudes were like “oh the hp customer service wants you to pay to ship your computer to a repair center and buy a new warranty? heres a replacement computer for free”

im so frustrated i spent all this time calling customer service, going to the tech store to do diagnostics, researching and purchasing a new computer, and waiting for it to be delivered only for the new one to arrive already broken before i even turn it on and now i have to go thru the whole customer service/repair/return/replace rodeo AGAIN
