I just had the WEIRDEST computer issue.
I kept getting an error when trying to open dragon age inquisition that mentioned a .dll file. And I tried so many things short of uninstalling the game. Felt like a freaking computer scientist but none of it was working so I gave up for the night.
TODAY I tried opening Sony Vegas Pro, a video editing program, and it gave me an error that mentioned THE SAME .dll file! I un/reinstalled that program which fixed it and guess what?

seeing as how much memory it took up I can see why my computer had a hard time getting started up.
How on Earth did I manage to disable system icons that can't be disabled with my version of Windows 7?
Either I'm very good at being bafflingly computer-illiterate or a virus did it.
And Dylan did kind of do all kinds of magic to rescue me from some fake anti-virus virus last night. ;___;
...but why would a virus take away my volume and power icons?

So I'm rebuilding my music library on the new machine today. Well, starting it, at any rate. When I started this process, the drive had 130GB free. After adding a nearly complete Nightmare discography, a nearly complete vidoll discography, and a complete D=out discography ... the disk reports 132GB free. o.0
