Twrch Trwyth & the Questing Beast. TT is from Culhwch & Olwen in the Mabinogion while QB shows up in a bunch of texts, I like her best in Perlesvaus & Post Vulgate. TT with his lil golden comb<3 I also just think boars are cool, I imagine TT like the boar demon Nago from Princess Mononoke (1997). Welsh Mythology was meant to be horror. Straight up. QB is already horror. In Perlesvaus, she’s a small white creature pregnant with feral babies that eat their way out of the womb & cannibalize their mother??? Then Post Vulgate description she obviously appears as some sort of chimera which I think has an interesting, Otherworldly potential. She defies a concise description, people talking about her sound nuts. You say you encountered a huge boar, yeah okay. But describing QB causes people to doubt your grasp on reality, possibly makes you doubt your grasp on reality. The horror of QB lingers in the mind. Do you see my vision? Perhaps I’ve said too much…
