Takumi

He’s really stunned by it! Takumi first sees your little doodles around the corner of the maps he was given to you, and occasionally sees you sitting underneath the shade of the largest tree in the garden, drawing into a sketchbook you owned. At first, he just watches you looking incredibly focused (and he had to admit it was really cute), but he does come over eventually and join you.

Your boyfriend is your number 1 fan! Whenever you finish a piece in your free time, Takumi feels his heart swell up in pride. He practically becomes a kid and carries your art around everyday, showing it off to everyone and huffs with fondness: “Look at what [Name] drew! Isn’t it amazing?”

He’s willing to take you anywhere for inspiration! Takumi will accompany you wherever you want him to go, and he’ll always be there to protect you. He’ll sit with you by the gardens, by the beach, in the forests, etc...

When you ask if you could draw a portrait of him, he flushes intensely! The prince is extremely flattered, but when he tries to model, Takumi can’t honestly stop fidgeting out of nervousness. When you try to kiss him to sit him still, the poor thing struggles even further...

Takumi will even make an effort to sit next to you and learn how to doodle with you! Since he’s actually decent at calligraphy, he learns how to pick up a paintbrush and paints with you. You two make a surprisingly good artistic duo, and lots of your collaborations are hung up in your room.

Ever since he’s started to do art with you, he finds it incredibly soothing. Whenever he feels at unease, or worried, Takumi will always come to you to watch you draw or indulge in the hobby himself, for it brings him happiness to see you doing the things you love and never fails to smooth his nerves down.

Leo

Not surprised when he finds out you’re an artist - after all, he isn’t ignorant of all the little drawings in his tactics books and the maps you have. Leo ruffles your hair and tells you off for being so absent-minded when you’re the tactician for the entire army, but praises you nonetheless for your amazing artwork.

Leo really loves observing you as you draw (in your free time, of course) - his eyes are full of soft admiration for you as you work hard on your pieces or as you sketch little things into your sketchbook. He finds every single thing about you adorable, honestly.

Can’t draw to save his life. When he tries to practice drawing so perhaps he could join you in your little sessions, he’s saddened to find out he can’t really draw anything at all - his lines are shaky, and you barely manage to make out the shapes he’s trying to draw. You kiss him nonetheless for his efforts, but assures him that art is hard! “You can’t be perfect at day one... it takes more practice!” You smile as you look at him, and then sighs. “But you’ll always be better than me at one thing - tactics.”

If he sees you very focused on your drawings (and you forget to eat or drink, which happens quite often when you overwork on making battle tactics in general), Leo will bring in tea and food for you to enjoy. He scolds you lightly for not taking care of yourself, but the prince is honestly happy to be taking care of you.

Whenever he goes out to the market, Leo has an eye out for any art supplies that are being sold out there. You’re always overstocked on every art supply possible when Leo comes home with a new gift in hand after a trip to the market.

But honestly, you can’t be happier to receive such support from your lovely boyfriend - and he always looks forward to your smiles and joy you greet him with whenever you get to indulge in your little hobby.

Well, it all started as it usually did. Ringabel flirting with someone. That someone, of course, was you!

Everyone kinda ignored it at first… Used to it. Ringabel has a reputation, after all. 

It flustered you a little, but such flirtation and flattery is rarely genuine, yes? You did like everyone else and tried to shrug it off. 

However, this only made him more persistent. Every day, he had a new compliment that was more fanciful than the last. 

“Not even the celestial nature of the stars could compare with the beauty in your eyes, Y/N.” 

“Never in my wildest dreams would I expect such an angel from above to fall right into my hands!”

“Allow me to help you! Not that you’d need my help with anything, as wonderfully capable as you are.” 

And so on. It never ended. 

While his words may have seemed false, his feelings were quite genuine. Oftentimes, when questions about his past kept him awake, Ringabel would sit outside and stare at the night sky. 

He gazed at the stars and thought of you. In the back section of his journal, where no one ever seemed to look, he wrote little poems and musings about you. 

He never said anything to let you or his comrades know how he really felt. Maybe he wasn’t ready to be with you yet. After all, his past was full of holes and his mind was filled with many more worries than just girls, as surprising as that may be. 

One day… Yes, one day, he’d tell you. He wasn’t ready for a real relationship right now, if you were even interested. Not yet, but someday. 

And until then, he was content to watch and woo you.

”…Love? Is there something wrong..?”

Nagito’s expressions often included those of anxious worry, or something akin to heartache–but the way his eyes dimmed as you flinched at the touch of his hand, that was enough to absolutely crush you.

“N-No, I’m sorry, I just…I guess I’m just a little out of it..”

That wasn’t the truth, and even your boyfriend could tell that you weren’t being entirely honest. In truth, you had a bit of a…problem. Something that you struggled with long before you had gotten together with Komaeda, though your relationship certainly made it a lot more difficult to hide.

You had some issues with affection. Not with giving it, or even disliking it, but…if you were to be technical, you would have to say you were ‘affection-starved’. You absolutely adored being held, kissed, hugged, even just being in the same vicinity as your beloved, you just simply couldn’t get enough of it–even to the point that you felt you were overbearing, wanting to be near your loved ones as much as physically possible. If given the opportunity, you would gladly be on Komaeda’s arm at all times, basking in the affection he would give you–but you knew it could be a burden, especially when the two of you were in public, and so you had done your best to keep that side of you hidden from your beloved. You feared he might feel pressured to give you that attention that you adored so much, and making the one you loved uncomfortable was the last thing you wished to put on him–and so you had done your best to avoid anything further than a brief kiss or loving hug, for fear you might go overboard and start cuddling him without him wanting it. But by the unconvinced look Komaeda was giving you, you were certain he knew that something was awry.

“…Come on, now. There’s no use hiding it–what’s going on, my love? I know you’re stressed, and I’m not going to stop pestering you until you tell me.”

He was unusually confident, though, and had a determined look on his face. He wasn’t pulling any punches with you, obviously, so it seemed like an impossible task to try and make up some excuse as to why you shied from his touch. So you did the only thing you could think of–you sealed your lips shut, and declined to say a thing. And unfortunately for you, something mischievous flashed across his eyes.

“Ah, then I suppose you leave me no choice. You brought this on yourself, sweetheart.”

And before you could register what he was planning, his hands were at your sides–and you suddenly couldn’t stop the giggles that escaped you. Komaeda was tickling you with a vengeance, a grin on his lips as he watched you squirm and laugh like an excited young boy, trying hard to swat his hands away with no luck.

“N-Nagi-! C-Cut it out-!”

You practically had tears in your eyes by the time he let up, allowing you to catch your breath after such an intense laughing fit. To be honest, you almost wished he wouldn’t stop–but by the time you had collected yourself, and he had a loving smile on his lips, you felt you had the courage to tell him. Taking a deep breath, you let your feelings spill out–you stumbled over your words and rambled a bit, but by the time you had put everything out into the open, you had a feeling your love had a good grasp of what you were saying.

“I see…that mostly makes sense. Though, I don’t understand how a person like myself could ever make you feel that good…I understand. That must have taken a lot to confess…thank you for trusting me with this, my darling. I’ll keep this information safe, for as long as I live.”

His smile grew even wider, as he took your hands in his, and held them to his chest. The warmth of his palms felt like it was spreading throughout your entire body, and for the first time in a while, you allowed yourself the freedom to bask in the glorious touches that you so craved. That feeling was amplified even further when he brushed his thumb over your cheek, taking your face in one of his hands so he could guide you into a kiss.

“My sweet prince…if you ever want any piece of me, I will gladly give it to you. I owe you everything, and even touching you is a blessing…so I will give you as much affection as you wish, as long as it makes you happy. That’s all I need to live happily, is seeing your handsome smile..”

“…Hello? Are you in there, love..?”

With a gentle push of the door, Silas peeked into the cluttered study and took a quiet step forwards–you didn’t need to answer. He spotted the lump of robes hunched over the desk by the window, and he knew exactly what kind of comfort that was necessary.

Your partner could always tell when something troubled you, especially in times like these–you were so stressed, and so burdened with a mountain of problems, that it was hard enough to keep your head high, much less fix everything that had been broken. For now, as you pressed your forehead deeper into your sleeve, you wanted nothing else than to disappear.

“…Sweetheart, that can’t be comfortable.”

A warm, steady hand came down to rest atop your head, fingers gently running through your tousled hair. Silas’ voice was quiet and sweet, much like honey, and it helped you to finally lift your chin up and look him in the eyes, bags underneath your own.

His presence was enough to lighten the load you felt, but his smile was like a breath of fresh air–he dipped down for a kiss, his lips soft enough that you just wanted to melt into another right away.

“…I’m so tired, Silas.”

His expression turned a bit at that, the concern now clearly etched across his face. Ever since the two of you were children, you knew that Silas despised seeing you upset or in pain–and he would always do whatever necessary to make you feel even the smallest bit better.

“I bet you are. It’s been rough the last couple weeks…and I can only imagine how much worse it’s been for you, love. C’mon.”

Gesturing for you to stand, and offering his hand to aid you in doing so, your beloved took you into his arms and tightened his embrace, holding you close to his chest like you were a precious treasure to be kept safe.

“Now, how about we get some food, and take a bath together? No interruptions, no meetings, no orders. Just the two of us–how does that sound?”

For the first time in the last few days, you felt a smile grace your lips–it was amazing how infectious Silas’ optimism was…and by how much he did to try and comfort you, you were so joyous to know that your heart was in his hands, and no one else’s.

“Yeah…that sounds wonderful, my love. Let’s go.”

And while I'm not the same anon who requested the Raven&S/O headcanon, I'd be really intrigued what would happen once Raven's betrayal would happen - as well as what could occur when he's back in the team again. Thank you!

Hi anon! So I wrote an imagine for the reader finding out Raven betrayed everyone, so here are the headcanons for the aftermath! (Aka Heracles)

It had been way too hard for you to leave Baction with Raven still inside. In fact, Yuri had to basically pull you the whole way, for you kept on slowing down and looking back.

Once you had safely exited, you broke down. Nobody knew what to say to you, so they just left you alone, letting you get it all out.

However, once you quieted down a little bit, Karol came over to you and gave you a tight hug, which you gladly returned.

You didn’t say anything to each other, but you both knew that you each were grieving.

Even if he had betrayed everyone, even if Raven was some sort of elaborate lie… you still felt the pain of losing him. Both of you did.

However, there wasn’t much time for grieving. Everyone was on a time crunch and Estelle was still in danger. Everyone had no choice but to make their way to Zaphias so they could board Heracles.

You were tempted to stay behind in the capital so you could mourn. And you almost did thanks to the wound you had gotten, but thanks to some newly bought lemon gels, you could go to Heracles with the others, and so you did.

As you boarded he giant warship, you had been confronted with LeBlanc and his goons. Of course, you weren’t paying much attention to them. Your gaze was on the ground.

However, it was pulled back up as you heard a familiar voice… Raven.

You couldn’t explain the emotions you were feeling as you saw him. Not dead. Not Schwann. He was Raven and he was alive.

Of course the first thing you felt was the intense emotion of joy, and happy tears welled in your eyes. He was alive. He was alive!

But then you remembered how and why he had ‘died’, and anger forced its way into the joy, mixing the two together to give you some confusing emotions.

The others did all the speaking you didn’t do, and they voiced your feelings to a T. Of course they felt the same.

As Raven told the others to ‘put him down’, you couldn’t really help the quiet protest that escaped your lips. Sure youwete mad at him. Furious, even. But you didn’t want him to die… again.

Yuri went to approach him, and you allowed yourself to voice your protests as a sinking feeling formed in your chest.

However, the vigilante didn’t kill Raven. He simply hit him after saying he owes his life to Brave Vesperia.

You let out an audible sigh of relief at that.

Before Raven could really recooperate, the others each had a turn at hitting him, and soon enough it was your turn. If you wanted to… and damn did you want to.

The ‘old man’ looked up at you, and you smiled. “I’m glad you’re not dead and I love you…” Before he could let out his own sigh of relief, you slapped him. “But you’ve got a shit ton of explaining to do.”

You honestly did feel bad after that, but at the same time after all that he had done, it was basically nothing. A slap on the wrist just placed somewhere else.

And explain he did. Thoughit took him a while to open up to you about it, he explained everything to you, starting right from the beginning… which was really hard for him to talk about. He was able to, though.

He told you about Casey, his death, Alexei, his heart… everything. He explained why he wouldn’t be affectionate with you in imperial towns, because he was worried about something of that sort being reported to Alexei and something happening to you or him.

And you listened. You listened, sympathized, showed compassion towards him, and did everything you could to support him as he recounted his trauma. You remained patient and let him take his time.

And by the time Brave Vesperia made it out of Heracles with no Estelle, your relationship with him had improved vastly.

Everything was better. While it wasn’t healed and while the pain wasn’t gone, Raven had someone to lean on now. And you would gladly build him up at any time, because you loved him, and the trust that he had broken back at Baction was starting to become stronger than before.

“Go on without me, I’ll catch up once I’ve got this wound under control.” You looked up at Yuri Lowell, a concerned expression on his face. During one battle with a knight, you had gotten wounded on your side. The group was running low on healing supplies, so you insisted that you would stop the bleeding yourself. Everyone was hesitant to leave you behind. Especially now.

“(Y/N), we don’t want to leave you here.” You blinked a bit and looked over at Judith as she spoke. “But,” she looked over at the others, “we have faith that you’ll make it back to us in one piece. Right?”

Everyone else was quiet for a long tense moment before Karol nodded slightly. “Y-yeah! I trust you m— (Y/N).” he forced a small grin onto his face.

You knew what he was about to call you, and as he almost called you ‘mom’ for the second time… well, your gaze softened. You smiled softly at him. “Thanks, Karol.” (E/C) eyes traveled over to Yuri, Rita, Patty, and Flynn. Patty gave you a small nod, while the other three seemed more hesitant. “Guys. I’ll be okay. I’ll catch up before you’ll even notice I’m gone.”

After yet another long silence, Yuri sighed, shaking his head slightly before looking away from you. “Alright.“

“Just avoid fighting until you come back, okay?” Rita cut in, folding her arms over her chest as she looked down at you. “Oh, and, uh, here.” she pulled one of her extremely old weapons from her bag and handed it to you. A scarf. She avoided making eye contact as you took it from her.

“Thanks.” Rita nodded curtly in response and stepped away from you, the others taking her lead. Flynn being the most hesitant one to do so.

“I’ll make sure to kick that bastard’s ass twice as hard if you can’t make it in time.” Yuri grinned slightly and you couldn’t help but laugh.

“Good. Now go, hurry. Estelle’s in even more danger for every second you spend with me.” You waved the group off, and they began to walk away without question. When they exited the room, you began work on your wound.

You hissed softly as you slowly stood up, using the wall as a crutch. The bandaging you had done to your wound with Rita’s old scarf, well… it sucked. But you had to get going nonetheless. After all, you had promised to meet up with the others.

You slowly began to hobble through the door you knew you had seen them exit through. They couldn’t be too far off.

As you stepped into the next room, your prior somewhat relaxed mood was replaced with dread as you heard a scream. And not just any scream, it was Estelle.

If you weren’t trying to be quick before, you were definitely trying now. If that scream said anything, it was that the others were in danger in some way. You had to hurry.

For every panicked step you took, the voices of your comrades and the twisted commandant got louder and louder.

“… now shut up… Estelle go!”

“… Certain… what the princess wants?”

You could just barely make out the words from the echoes they made across the halls, but alas you couldn’t hear all of it.

You let out a quiet grunt, reaching the entrance to where everyone was and holding tightly onto the door for support. Your eyes were drawn upward, their attention caught by the strange ball that held Estelle captive.

“As long as I’m with you all, I’ll only cause you harm… But… I want to be with you! I just don’t know what I should do!” You shook your head and took a small step forward, your voice catching the attention of everyone in the room.

“E-Estelle—! That isn’t true! You have to pull yourself together, we— we’ll find a way to fix this!” You tried to take another step forward, but fell to your knees, shaking.

“(Y/N)!” Estelle called out for you as Karol and Judith both rushed over to help support you.

“Estelle! Pull yourself together!” Patty shouted, looking at the girl with a small frown.

“Forget about that, Estelle! Get over here!” Yuri glanced briefly over to you. “(Y/N)’s right, If there’s something you’re unsure about, we’ll work it out together!”

“Yuri…!”

Yuri and the others began to make a run toward Estelle, only for a bright red light to knock everyone back before they could even get close.

This included you, as you were blaster back a short distance, hitting a nearby pillar with a grunt.

Your vision danced between clouded and clear, and you could barely hear Alexei speak over the ringing in your ears.

You pushed yourself up as your vision cleared and you could hear once again, the first thing you registered being the familiar-looking knight that stood before the group. For a brief moment, you made eye contact with him before he looked away quickly.

Recede barked at him, and you glanced over to the dog in confusion, only to go rigid.

“I suppose there’s no fooling the nose of a dog.” Your heart stopped. You recognized that voice.

Your (E/C) eyes moved quickly to look up at this ‘Captain Schwann’, and sure enough, it was the man you knew as Raven.

“R… Raven? What’s going on? Why are you wearing…” you knew the answer already, and it made your heart twist painfully.

You stood up, stumbling forward. You had to get close to him, to see that this wasn’t some sort of cruel trick. However, a hand wrapping around your arm pulled you back to the others. You looked over, making eye contact with Flynn.

“… This doesn’t look like a joke.” Judith commented, as if reading your intentions like a book.

Everyone else remained eerily silent, a few glances spared over to you as you stared at Schwann Oltorain in disbelief. This couldn’t be real. It had to be some sort of nightmare.

“Wait—! But what about the Don, Raven—?!” Karol exclaimed. Schwann gave him a brief once-over before moving his gaze to the wall behind you. He seemed so broken. So different. It scared you to think about how he ever got like this.

“Conversing with you is not one of my duties.”

You hated the way his voice sounded. It was so different, so cold. It hurt. This hurt so much to see, to watch, to hear… you could barely help the tears welling up in your eyes.

“Raven…!” You and Karol seemed to speak at the same time, each of you with an equally heartbroken tone to your voices.

Yuri soon enough got over the shock and shook his head as he got into a defensive position. “We’re in a bit of a hurry, so let us through.” A moment passed, and Yuri’s eyes widened. “Wait… you’re not thinking of trying to stop us, are you?”

You tensed up as Schwann reached over and unsheathed the blade at his side, eyes narrowed at the group.

“N-no… Raven— Schwann—” you had no idea what to call him at this point. “Please— p-please don’t do this!”

He didn’t listen to you, though. His gaze didn’t even travel over to look at you. Perhaps he didn’t care, or perhaps he couldn’t bring himself to look at you. Either way, you could feel a tear rolling down your cheek as you tried to suppress a quiet sob.

“… Schwann Oltorain. First Captain of the Imperial Knights. Ready to do battle.”

You had joined Brave Vesperia’s merry band of idiots somewhat early on, before Judith had joined up with them but a little bit after Raven did.

And boy, oh boy, did the two of you have something between you. Whenever Rita or Yuri would ask one of you if there was anything going on romantically, and you personally would deny it. However, Raven would simply smirk and shrug nonchalantly without any answer.

There was a LOT of implications that the two of you were a thing. He’d always have his arm around your shoulder casually, and the two of you sometimes held hands while walking through Dahngrest. He never really made any affectionate gestures when in imperial town and cities, though. Strange.

Both Karol and Estelle have like no idea that you’re not in a relationship, and Patty is just a confusing story to be honest. She just doesn’t really care.

There’s a LOT of PDA. Not kisses or anything, but more casual stuff like what I mentioned before. Every time that you deny being in a relationship this kinda throws everyone off because either you’re really really blind or you’re just really into casual intimate touches.

So, when Karol calls the two of you, “mom and dad” as the group is visiting Nordopolica, there are MANY different reactions.

To start out, you’re very, very, very confused. Like, Karol please tell me that you didn’t just say that. Why? What— since when were you a mother figure

Raven isn’t even phased by this. Like yes child. I’m your father figure. I’m everyone’s father now.

“Karol, do ya happen t’ see me as a father figure?”

“N-no—! I said you’re— uh, a bother figure! ‘Cause you’re always bothering me!”

The others would be watching from the sidelines with their own little reactions put into it. Except for Patty. She was off doing something at the time.

Yuri and Rita were both slightly unamused but at the same time really amused so their expressions were really confusing to everyone.

Judith was in the same boat as Patty, at a shop buying new weapons for everyone.

And then, Estelle would probably speak up, asking, “Wait, (Y/N). You and Raven aren’t a couple?”

This was about the thirtieth time you were asked this question, and at this point, you might as well just accept it, since you did actually like Raven, and he obviously liked you in the same way.

So, as you remained silent, the “old man” wrapped his arm around your shoulders with that lazy smug grin of his. “Nah, we are.”

After a moment, you’d laugh quietly and wrap your own arm around him, beaming. “Yep!”

And that was the day you and Raven took over Yuri’s position as parent(s) of the group.

Raven is INCREDIBLY touch-starved. Listen, dying and then being brought back to life again just to be used as a puppet by a crazy dude would leave you desperately needing at least some affection.

You’d more than likely ask for permission to do it first, but honestly you don’t really need to ask. He doesn’t mind, and he melts every time.

He seems to enjoy holding you tightly against him, or even being held. More so the latter than the former, really.

Whenever he’s cuddling with you, you tend to have some conversations about really anything, ranging from how Yuri and the others have been doing, all the way to maybe even his past or Schwann. He prefers to keep the latter part on the inside, though. But yeah! Some fun lil conversations for when you’re cuddling. He loves it.

He can and will flirt with you and make cheeky comments whenever the two of you are doing this. Things like, “I didn’t know ya wanted me this close.” with a playful wink or “Yer so warm…” as he’s burying his face into the crook of your neck.

He’s pretty cold. Not terribly freezing, but he is colder than basically everyone else. So, he really likes to hold you close for the sole reason of you being warm. He also loves you but at the same time...... warm........

Overall he just, really likes to keep you close to him, since he’s found that he actually loves someone again. And after Casey, he just wants to make sure that you’re still there and going to stay there.
