Is it okay if I ask what proship, comship, and darkship are? I keep seeing the terms a lot and am quite confused as to what the terms genuinely mean,,

Ofc! I'll be doing my best to explain them the best way I know how so if something needs to be more clear don't hesitate to ask!!

Proship : The word "Pro" in proship is from the Latin prefix "Pro-" generally meaning "In favor of", "For", or "supporting". Someone who uses the term proshipper means they support all types of media and is anti-harrasment over these types of media, even if they don't personally ship those specific pairings themselves; this includes even the type that makes them uncomfortable. Being proship does not mean someone favors or has a liking for EVERY subject (I.E : Incest, DeadDove, Etc) plenty of proshippers don't always take a liking for problematic ships/media; it varies depending on the individual. However despite them not liking these subjects they still support them and their existence in fiction, with a belief that even if it makes them uncomfortable, people have the freedom to create and should not be censored or limited by societal norms no matter the content. (Keep in mind this doesn't mean they support or endorse said content in real life. This simply goes for fiction!)

Comship : The word "Com" in comship stands for "complex" or "complicated" shipping/ships. Comship is not the same as proship or darkship!! A comshipper is someone who finds "complicated" ships/media appealing and enjoys said works. Most often these type of complicated works are those that are considered taboo, unconventional, or even potentially harmful/abusive dynamics. An important note to remember is that being comship does NOT necessarily mean someone supports or endorses toxic or abusive relationships in real life. Another important thing is that even thought the term comship is more commonly used for those that have a more specific liking and support towards taboo subjects, this doesn't mean ALL comshippers are into/support said subjects. The term complicated shipping is a umbrella term and does not completely mean taboo subjects. Subjects like "Toxic Yuri/Yaoi", is a popular example of a comship.

Darkship : Darkship is exactly as it sounds, in which someone ships / supports darker media that is considered morally problematic or taboo. Things such as incest, abusive relationships, significant age gaps, etc, are most common. Darkshippers support the freedom to create and consume media featuring these ships, even if they are controversial. A very important thing to remember with this especially is that just because someone is darkship DOES NOT mean they endorse, support, or take part in these subjects in real life, it is only in fiction. (Also, darkship is NOT the same as proship or comship!)

Disclaimer: I am not in support of everything Gr31f3r does. Just because I am hiis friend and mutual and whatever the fuck does not mean I am not critical of hiis actions and don't think hee's completely innocent. Hee did some fucked up shit, sure, but hee's not the scum of the earth. Also I will be dropping my typing quirk for the rest of this post.

So, let's start off. What the fuck is DARVO?

DARVO, stands for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. Denying can look like a lot of things, like downplaying one's actions (I just overreacted a little bit, it wasn't that bad, etc) or straight up saying it didn't happen. Attacking looks like, well, attacking, this could happen in many more ways than just one, like Deny. And finally, Reverse Victim and Offender. This usually in most people's heads looks like lying or deceiving, but this can present differently. For instance, it could look like a simple use of the victim's party's actions to downplay what the offender did. Or maybe it's lying about who did what. Either way, that is DARVO.

Now, why did I just go over DARVO (a manipulation tactic) in a post about relationship drama?

Simple! Because this is what Kasper (aka r4dsk8tr) has been doing with Gr31f3r's public image! As well as other things within the relationship!

I'm just gonna disclaim: No. I don't think Gr31f3r's refusal of apologies is okay but we got bigger fish to fry than that.

Let's get into the document.

Good start, "not a cancellation doc." Completely ruined by the forced reveal of Gr31f3r's chronoage and the rest of this doc painting him out to be a complete monster. Using a two year age gap and "maturity difference" as an example is going to give people the idea that not only was this a predatory relationship but also one where Kasper was taken advantage of. Very odd to include this with literally no proof of grooming whatsoever??

This is another hefty start. Saying the drama starting because of hiim...... keeping an anon around that was sexual despite hiis reassurance hee wouldn't leave you for a random.... btw this actually fully started when Kasper decided to post this:

Kasper literally started this. Gr31f3r wanting sexual attention bothering you is fine but publicly slut shaming hiim?? "Whoring out" "filthy filthy slut"??? Followed up by "communicate with your boyfriend for once" is wild too. So we got Deny right here and there along with Attack.

Just wanted to put this there. The way they act about hiim icks me. Not to mention the guilt tripping with "you don't talk to me" and the "you know i'm posessive" genuinely worries me. I don't get why this was in the doc it just digs Kasper a deeper grave. 😭

More grooming accusations disguised as "not a cancellation attempt" and "simple red flags." I'm not gonna show the screenshot followed up by this as it makes me uncomfortable but I will say that no proof of hiim bringing up your info afterwards is crazy because you make it so important hee had your info for some time but never bring it up after the gift sending incident. Not to mention even if hee asked if you trusted hiim that doesn't mean geooming, that means hee was asking if you TRUSTED HIIM WITH YOUR INFO??? So now we also have Reverse Victim and Offender to complete DARVO. Isn't that lovely?

The rest of this doc is just interpersonal drama from a long time ago followed by a dramatic goodbye to their blog and it's followers. I really didn't like the way this was handled and wanted to make it clear what I stood by and why.

My take on IRLships:

I see nothing non-con with it as long as the ships is not forced onto the people. We i live the usual middle-aged to elderly talk a lot about how x and y would make a great couple etc etc. And as far as i know i did not hurt anyone yet. So i accept IRLships as long its not getting forced onto anyone.
