I've said this before but can't be bothered to find the post, so: what I desperately want, more and more, is for someone to ask jackles what he would have done differently if he had been playing dean as queer and/or in love with cas.

lol it’s extremely stupid, tbh; basically at some level I am just always thinking about this art by redwing in which dean is imagining explaining human things to cas. I have also made jokes about misha being deancoded before, but then the tone of my and his interactions reminded me of the dynamic in that art. it is extremely silly and I apologize for confusing you, because frankly any amount of time you may have spent thinking about it is more than it deserved.
I didn’t take video and even if I had this is probably a pretty subjective, vibes-based thing, but during the j2 panel yesterday they talked about hypothetical future installments of spn and basically made it sound like at this point it’s just a question of when, not if. they were just a couple of passing comments, but, at least to me, it sounded very much like they were treating “there will be more spn at some point” as a foregone conclusion. which, again, I’m mostly basing it on vibes (I think one of them did say “when”, not “if”, at one point? but my memory is not very reliable lmao), which are very subjective, and even if I’m right they may very well just be saying what the fans want to hear! but I also feel like mentions of a revival have gotten a lot less coy over the last several months, which is interesting.
thinking about taking a bit of a break from social media for awhile but first please take in this photo of me and misha
also for me, with misha specifically, I’m kind of…like, it’s not like he’s in a position to do more and isn’t. if jensen were out here making jokes about destiel, yeah, I’d think I’d be pretty pissed. (hell, I’ve gotten to the point where I’m annoyed by him making comments about how of course dean would want to find cas/bring him back, because my guy, you have/had the rights to the show! you are in the best possible position of anyone to do something about that!) but like. the show is over, and when it was still on misha wasn’t a writer or a producer. hell, they didn’t even want to pay him to be in every episode. and he still used what limited power he had to get us as much as he could! and it wasn’t much, but it was a lot more than anyone, him included, ever thought we’d get, and it sounds like he had to fight pretty hard for it. which is depressing as hell, but it’s not on him.
if he, say, signs on as a producer to a hypothetical s16 and we still don’t get anything, then yeah, I’ll be pretty pissed. but like. literally all he’s in a position to do is talk about it at cons and on social media? idk, it’s just hard for me, personally, to see much of a problem in him making jokes about destiel sex.
