The Barbie panel is over and… that was insane???

There were so many people, people were turned away because it was full, and the two people doing the presentation barley expected anyone to come lmao

They were so funny tho, and had done very impressive research, and the whole audience agreed on the gay subtext 😌

They really had the whole lecture hall chant «all hail Bibble» really loudly by the end, so that was… certainly something!

All in all, truly a religious experience

if anyone was ever wondering why so many fans left the spn fandom, this is why, the dismissal/homophobia from a certain few actors was constant, there were cons every month it seemed and it only kept adding up and getting worse, there was a point where misha tweeted "you're not crazy" in reference to it and trying to show support for us queer fans because he couldn't really say anything else, as I don't think he was allowed to talk about deancas at the time? idk but it was Bad and this is just bringing all those feelings back, so just be kind to each other please <3

“so, this one a keeper?”

“nothing’s for keeps, babe,” ri teases, leaning against the railing. the town below them is small, but well-kept. well-managed, too, if the castle in the middle--all pastels and bright, even in the dead of night--has anything to say about it. “this world’s pretty cool… not really that entertaining, though.”

con wraps his arms around ri’s waist, head falling to rest on hir shoulder. “well, you didn’t hear it from me, but i’m picking up on some signals headed right towards here.”

“oh?”

“coming from the void. been a long time coming, too.”

“the creator and his little friends, yeah?”

“probably,” con says, noncommittal. “and don’t you want to see how that plays out?”

ri leans up to kiss him, smiling against his lips. “you always know just what to say,” they murmur as they pull away, fond. “am i rubbing off on you?”

“don’t take all the credit there.”

“can and will, babe.”

con’s lips twitch up, even as he pulls away to hop onto the railing. “maybe it’s been des.”

“cheating on me with another demon? scandalous.”

“never. but you’ve stopped takin’ me to all your fancy parties.”

“i thought you hated those,” ri muses, stepping up onto the bottom leg of the rail. “don’t tell me i should’ve been asking all this time?”

con snorts. “they’re awful. where else do i get the chance to dress up, though?”

“des’ place, apparently.”

“‘xactly.”

“guess i’d better start inviting you along again,” and ri leans forward, tail wrapping around con’s ankle. steady, even as they tilt towards the edge. “i’d love to see all your pretty little looks.”

“you’d better,” con agrees, and leans forward to kiss them again.
