Gideon was never brave like Fabian or confident like Molly, and was content with being labeled the quiet one of the siblings. The three were thick as thieves while growing up and nothing will break the bond they still share. Although the Prewetts are purebloods, they grew up on the outskirts of pureblood society. Their status was good enough to get invited to parties yet bad enough that the hosts hoped the family didn’t show. Blood traitors are common along the Prewett line, and many presumed the younger generation would be trouble. Gideon didn’t mind that much growing up since they weren’t overly social with anyone outside their family.
Gideon happily would have stayed home with their parents at age eleven, but that was not an option. Hogwarts was the school the twins were sent to, and Gideon spent the majority of their time there in the Gryffindor common room. Adventuring only ever happened when Fabian or Molly was at their side. Large crowds of students were overwhelming to Gideon, so they preferred sticking to quieter spaces, often going to meals earlier than most for the sake of avoiding loud noises.

When Fabian joined the Order, Gideon was at their side wanting to fight for a better world for everyone. They quickly learned that they couldn’t just keep their head down, struggling with pushing aside the nerves that accompanied being surrounded by people at first. Gideon found their spot in the Order and is grateful for the support the cause has provided so far. Fighting has become all the more important now that people they grew close to have gone missing. Gideon is determined to ensure no one else gets put in a life-or-death situation and is willing to go down fighting for it.

Fabian Prewett - The twins have been best friends since birth, with Gideon as the quiet one and Fabian as the outspoken one. Fabian understands Gideon better than anyone else, sharing a bond that nobody can really understand.
Andromeda Tonks - Having initially believed Andromeda was on the Order’s side, Gideon is thrown off that Andromeda returned to the Blacks without much of a second thought. Andromeda’s change in heart doesn’t sit right with Gideon; they know it’s a matter of time before they accidentally question it.
Evander Selwyn - Despite having little in common, Gideon went out of their way to show support when the rest of the purebloods turned their backs on the family. The attack on Artemisia was horrendous, and Gideon knows they would have appreciated a shoulder to lean on if Fenrir targeted their family instead.
