One and done, the Dolohov family was relieved to have their heir on the first try. There wasn’t a need for siblings or a backup heir since their child would be raised under strict expectations that stressed precisely what was expected of them and what would happen if those requirements were not met. It was a stifling existence where childhood was spent seated by the family patriarch, taking in everything that would one day involve Antonin.

Antonin has only ever toed the line, having not felt a need to rebel. The favor gained with the dark lord has them at a point of knowing the only direction they can go is up. Why change anything when happy to cruise along with the hand Antonin was dealt?

The word ruthless sums up Antonin’s involvement with the Death Eaters. Antonin has proven to be a force to be reckoned with. They have climbed to the top of the social ladder in all aspects of their life and managed to fool most of the population into believing they have everyone’s best interests at heart. As of recent, Lord Voldemort has taken to trying to encourage Antonin to consider aiming for the position of Minister of Magic.

Reine Borgin -  The two have a written agreement to wed if it ever comes down to one of their parents trying to force a betrothal on one of them. Their dalliance has been going on for several years now, but neither has felt a need to make things official. With their parents neglecting to force them into an unhappy marriage, why change anything?

Barty Crouch Jr. - Reluctantly Antonin agreed to mentor the younger death eater. It’s become obvious that Barty dislikes this, and is avoiding them. Antonin really does not care too much about this since they aren’t invested in the mentorship.

Evan Rosier - It was supposed to be one hook up - a meaningless fling while Gregory was on a business trip - and turned into something more. The two were in the habit of meeting in secret until Iva got pregnant. Iva pushed Evan away. Doing so hurt but it was in the best interest of their little family. The only thing holding Iva back from allowing Evan back in is looking at their son and not being entirely convinced Gregory was the one to father him.

Barty Crouch Jr. - Iva has been keeping an extra close eye on Barty ever since being caught with Evan on a day they weren’t being careful about keeping things under wraps. Threatening blackmail has proven effective but that still hasn’t left Iva believing Barty isn’t a threat.

Narcissa Malfoy - Jealous of. There’s something about Narcissa that irks Iva. Although appearances can be deceiving, Iva has come to think Narcissa got the truly picture perfect family, disliking that the Goyle’s weren’t lucky enough for a similar life.

Barty Crouch Jr. - Troubled. There was always something a little off about Barty. It wasn’t anything overly obvious but Doris was able to see right through the happy-go-lucky front Barty wore while in front of classmates and the public eye. There was certainly more beneath the surface, with Doris regretting not having tried to get to know Barty sooner. Perhaps doing so would have meant saving them from seeking the wrong sort of people to befriend and strive for approval from.

Rita Skeeter - The two were close for a while but Rita had a change of heart that involved no longer being friends. Ultimately, it was a one sided friendship where Doris thought they were friends and Rita was merely using them.

Sirius Black - Doris initially thought Sirius and their friends were a total nuisance and wanted little to do with them. Time passed and Doris was impressed to see the group, with Sirius in specifics, grow up and mature enough to be deemed worthy of holding their attention for longer than a few minutes at a time.

Marlene McKinnon - The first person to befriend Mary and the first pureblood that didn’t have a problem with Mary being a muggleborn. They have been close since day one of meeting and Mary appreciates that Marlene didn’t continually question why joining the Order wasn’t an option.

Severus Snape - Wary of. Mary considered Severus as a decent person up until the word ‘mudblood’ got thrown into the mix. Feelings are complicated since Mary enjoyed being partnered with them back in school. Once the war hit, it was clear Severus needed to be kept at a distance. A gut feeling of not trusting the affiliations they claimed to have had hit and have left Mary feeling uneasy now that the war is over.

Barty Crouch Jr. - There were fond memories of bonding with the Ravenclaw during school and occasionally working together at the Ministry. Those thoughts were quickly replaced with disbelief toward Barty’s arrest. The revelation wasn’t bad enough to turn Mary’s world upside down but it did leave them questioning if there was anyone else that had their trust but was on the wrong side of things.
