"It's going to be getting cold soon." That had been her excuse for sewing a scarf rather than an apron like the rest of the class had been assigned to do but the truth was that a scarf seemed like it would be easier. Aprons had pockets and designs whereas a scarf was simply just one long bundle of fabric so it was only natural that Rin had chosen to create that rather than the latter. It was for that reason and for the fear of someone sewing a better apron than her that she chose to do a different article of clothing altogether. And, much to her disdain, the scarf was coming along just as she feared it would: horribly.

She had already managed to prick her fingers quite a few times and the holes that she had forgotten to knit together were quite obvious and spaced out. A scarf like this would do no justice for the harsh snow that would soon come in a mere couple of months. 

Once the class ended, the girl had rushed outside quickly and stalked off to a nearly secluded area-- one where she could stare down at her failed creation in disgust. For someone who was supposed to be the best at everything they did, she sure did fail at it often. No longer wanting to look at the cloth in her hands (much less to hold it) she found herself approaching the nearest woman with a huff and handed it out to her with red cheeks. 

"Winter is coming..."

"So take this to keep warm."  

It was a horrible gift, but it was a gift nonetheless so this stranger had no choice but to be grateful! With her embarrassment now completely getting the best of her, the teen turned on her heel and darted off in the opposite direction.

"I want to touch you, feel your skin and caress you deeply so that your soul feels it…" The girl leaned in close, voice nothing more than a hushed whisper as a small hand was lifted to rest against her chest where she could feel her heart beating gently beneath her own palm. "You are my one true love..."

"Pff--- HA! HAHAHAHA!"

"Can you believe this crap!?!" With a hysterical laugh, the blonde hurls forward onto her knees and approaches the girl with a snort for dramatic effect as she waves the book in front of the child's face. "This is so stupid! There's no way in hell I could read something like this! I wanna read about a cute girl who goes on amazing adventures and becomes famous and filthy rich and kicks ass while doing it. I don't give a damn about all this romance junk." 

"I should just write my own autobiography! You agree, right, Yoshino?"
